Vice President Dick Cheney had to cancel a trip to Illinois today, Wednesday, after a routine examination revealed an “abnormal” heart beat.
A Cheney spokeswoman said that the doctors found “a recurrence of atrial fibrillation, an abnormal rhythm involving the upper chambers of the heart.”
The VP was then scheduled for an outpatient procedure to correct his heart beat.
And while the condition is no emergency, it shows that Cheney’s age – 67 – is catching up with him.
And, on that note, we’d like to remind you that John McCain is older than Cheney by 5 years.
That’s half a decade.
Hmmm!
