Gosh, by the time the upcoming issue of Vogue hits newsstands, no one’s going to care, because Jen‘s chip-on-her-shoulder interview has pretty much dribbled all over the internet already.
Here are some more fightin’ words from Maniston!
One the public’s (inaccurate) perception of her:
“There is more to me than just a tabloid girl. This whole ‘Poor lonely Jen’ thing, this idea that I’m so unlucky in love? I actually feel I’ve been unbelievably lucky in love. I don’t feel like I’m supposed to be any further along or somewhere that I’m not. I’m right where I’m supposed to be.”
Where oh where could we have possibly gotten that idea from???
Cough – John Mayer – cough.
And on her divorce from Brad Pitt:
“I’ve got to tell you, it’s so vague at this point, it’s so faraway in my mind, I can’t even remember the darkness. I mean, in the end, we really had an amicable split. ├óΓé¼┬ª And pretty soon after we separated, we got on the phone and we had a long, long conversation with each other and said a lot of things, and ever since we’ve been unbelievably warm and respectful of each other.”
Someone let Jen know that it takes two to tango.
And here’s some random stuff about Sex and the City:
“I never liked Sex and the City, the kind of thing where women only feel empowered once they find the Man. It is just not up my alley. I don’t believe in it. There is nothing you can control about love.”
That’s cause her life sounds like a page right out of the script!
