Showtime has announced that their very successful lesbionically delicious drama The L Word will end its run on the network next year.

By the time the last episode airs, the show will be one of the longest running programs in cable TV history with six seasons.

According to the net, fan input will play a part in wrapping up the series’ story lines, noting the role that viewer input has played in the past.
