The Loss Of An Icon! Rue McClanahan Has Passed

It is with great sadness that PerezHilton.com exclusively reports and has confirmed that iconic actress Rue McClanahan has passed away.
She was 76 years old.
The legendary actress – Golden Girls and Maude – died at 1 AM this morning at New York Presbyterian Hospital .
We’re told she suffered a massive stroke.
At the time of her death, McClanahan was surrounded by family and loved ones. “She went in peace,” says her manager.
While this news incredibly sad, Rue had been very sick for a while and at least she is no longer in pain.
