The Mission District is one of our favorite new Canadian bands.
From Montreal, their music sounds like a beautiful hybrid of California and British pop rock. There's influences of Blink 182 and The Cure.

You have NO idea how happy I am that you posted this, Perez. I'm from Montreal, the Mission District's hometown, and these guys have worked SO hard to get where they are (like a lot of bands, i know) but on top of that, they're fantastic, both on CD and live. These guys are going somewhere, but it takes people like you to help get the word out. Thank youuu

I love how people thinky it takes so long to see a doctor around here! HAHAH
it only takes like a month if you make an appointment!! obviously if its an emergency you get in a lot faster! If you break something they see you RIGHT AWAY, don't worry we're not all walking around here all deformed from waiting months to get something relocated! HAHAH I needed that laugh! heheheh

The Mission District is an amazing band. I saw them play at 2 sold-out shows in a row in Montreal. I think they just came out with a new album… anyone know where I can get hold of it?

Are you even familiar with socialized medicine? It is not the saving grace of Canada or any other nation. There is no perfect system. Trust me, become a Canadian and try and seek medical attention when you have any ailment and see how long it takes.

oh.. and by the way. FREE healthcare IS the shit. My mum had cancer, and she was given the best care. Also we would of been poor do to the cost of it all. So, just accept it. American's have better TV, movies, celebrety gossip ect. WE have better healthcare.
