Jessica "Don't Call Me Latina" Alba is pregnant (with a non-Latino baby), her publicist has confirmed.
It was probably a mistake!
Her boyfriend, Cashole Warren, is officially the new K-Fed.
The baby is due in late Spring / early Summer.
"Don't Call Me Latina" and Cashole had broken up earlier this year. They're not even engaged. We're sure a baby is gonna be the glue that will make their relationship last. Cuz that works every time, right?

#315 Island Girl, you are right. In the islands, Jamaican for example(as well as Trinidad) they have a term called Jamaican White. Now these people are very light-skinned and on the islands, compared to their population they do look white, if you see what I mean. But of course once they leave the island it is apparent that they are a mixture of people because simply as said before, they looked mix. They are indeed surprised to be classified as mixed because of how they at home viewed themselves and it makes them angry and bitter. Their is a person who is frequently commenting about this very thing, she seems almost obssessed that she is not considered white like her rrelatives were back home. I have family members from Jamaica like that and I know others who went through the same thing. One drop rule does not apply anymore in the states, that has now been settled by the government and by most intelligent people in society. When people are hurt and mocked in childhood about their color, it leaves a lasting impression on them.
I am part Asian and part White and growing up I was constantly teased and called Ching Chang, and other things. I thought I was white, and it took me a while to accept that I was a biracial person. It is more comfortable to identify with the dominant culture and to think that you are a part of that group. It can build resentment that you are not accepted as a member of the dominant group, so you cling and grow closer to the groups that accept you. That is the truth no matter if people try to deny it.
Yes in the United States people are assumed to be what they look like. If you are White and have a tiny Black ancestry, but you look White, then nobody knows your entire racial background and people automatically assume that you are White, I have a friend like that. It is all about appearances in America. One drop rule is dumb because many black people have a one drop white ancestry, but they obviously are not white because they don't look white. That whole rule was devised nearly 200 years ago for financial reasons that are meaningless today.
