Ashley Tisdale broke many hearts in South Florida on Saturday night.
The Disney star was scheduled to be one of the performers at the Y100 Jingle Ball but cancelled at the last minute.
Apparently she was "in too much" pain to perform.
If you know you have work commitments coming up, why would you get a nose job a week before an important gig????
Thankfully for the audience, though, Nelly Furtado showed up unannounced and surprised everyone by joining Timbaland on stage for a performance of their hit Give It To Me.
One of our favorite Canadians was in town with fiance, Demo Castellon, who is Timbo's engineer and a fellow Cuban.
Overall, it was a super fun evening.

Yes we went last night and saw you there Perez! Fun night it was. But yes alot of little girls were indeed disappointed including my little sister and her friend. They made posters for her and even bought her freakin t-shirt. Even the parents were pissed off! Most of the little girls went there to see her the most. And your right about the whole nose job thing…..why would you do it a week before a gig. Stupid ass move there. But in all we had a great time!

Perez was a real coward at the show last night. He NEVER announced that Ashley wasn't performing, it was kept a secret until the show was over. After Good Charlotte finished, the lights came on and the show was over! WTF??! No Ashley? Perez doesn't come out to say good night? The lights come on and Perez and the Y-100 douchebags ran away before the audience realized that Ashley wasn't coming out. What a bunch of assholes! They knew before the show started that Ashley wasn't there, but were too scared to tell everyone. Perez, you suck!
It does not matter. She does not have any talent anyway. She probably couldn't sing her way out of a box.

She had to do it because of her deviated septum. She probably would not have been able to perform without the surgery anyway, due to breathing problems and any pain with that. You can't sing if you can't breathe.

I really don't even have an opinion on her but.. You know, people are mad that she did this before a performance but when IS a good time for her? She is ALWAYS doing something. I had a nose job for the exact same reasons she did and I'm not even famous and I found it hard to schedule because we all have something going on in our lives that we don't want to miss, so seriously, give her a break. On that same note i don't believe that it was because of "pain" as stated. I didn't have any pain with mine after a few days. It could however be from the blood/ooze that comes out of your nose for over a week that you have no control over. Also, I couldn't breath through my nose for 2 weeks.. just imagine her trying to sing with the worst stuffed up nose of her life. It's just not going to happen. So seriously, give her a break. If I was a "singer" and I just got a nose job I gurantee you I wouldn't have been singing for atleast a month. So seriously, don't judge unless you've had that surgery and actually know how it is. IF you were in her position you probably would have cancelled too. Her fans are really just being selfish.
Not sure how she managed to make it out in public after a surgery to correct a deviated septum, anyway. I had a septoplasty, and they shoved tampons up my nose for a week and gave me large amounts of vicodin. It was a good 3 weeks before the swelling went down enough for me to start to look like myself.
Interesting how things 'change.' I just had mine done last year by the same doctor that takes care of Ozzy.
i was at the z100 pre show for the jingle ball and she did the same thing i know that its not as big of a show but people were still disappointed

If Ashley cancelled her show she did disappoint her fan. She's a talentless, FUG 22 year old that acts and has BF that are 15. She tells her fans she does not condone plastic surgery but gosh she gets one anyways. She idolizes Jessica Simpson and hopefully she will be headed down that same path…to nowheresville.

i had it done two weeks ago after breaking my nose when i was seven (im eighteen). and if you look at her nose, you can tell there IS something wrong with it by the unnatural bend and the slight hump on her bridge.
and its probably a good thing she didnt sing, she would have had a nose bleed… not hot.
I was at the concert..Perez you were great! Loved the Ashley nose joke. I think it was fucked up she didnt show up. There was a group of girls that were sitting near me, all wearing Ashley Tisdale T-Shirts. There were also a few little girls with their mom sitting next to me, and once the security guards came over and told us the concert was over and Ashley was a no-show they started hysterically crying. It was really sad. Those poor girls. Ashley's career will suffer from this

Okay, I a few things to say.
(1) stop bagging her, you dont know her.
(2) you dont know the real reason she had the surgery. And if you dont believe what she says, then who can you believe, i mean, she did get the surgery herself, so wouldnt she know why she had it?

(3) they thought she would have recovered by the jingle ball, but she hadn’t. it wasn’t really her fault.
(4) If you look at all the signs, you could tell something was wrong.
she always sings live. (TRL, Regis & Kelly, HSM Concert, Mall Tour) so it was weird she lip synched Last Christmas at Rockefeller Centre, so something must have been wrong otherwise she would have sung live.
(5) You have your own opinions of who looks hot or ugly, but don’t call anyone fugly or disgusting or anything like that. I myself think that Ashley is beautiful. She's unique and that’s what I love about her. She's my idol, and i'm not up for people bagging her when you don’t even know her. So stop being dickheads and start being mature and make sure to keep your opinions to yourself if they're rude or not worth being shared.
(6) to all the little kids, actually, to everyone, fans, enemies and parents. You can tell she didn’t mean to disappoint you (or your children), but if your old enough to understand what surgery is, and how much it takes out of you, then put yourself in her position and then imagine performing live a week after. Yeah, it doesn’t seem possible to me either.
