Correction to your highly inaccurate information. Mariah (a NO Talent, btw) MAY have sung this song before, however the song was written for and introduced by 10 year old Olivia Olson, and quite fantastically in the movie "Love Actually"!

believe it or not, i've heard worse versions. i'm ashamed to say that teddy geiger (whom i adore) chose to cover this song on his xmas album of 2006 and he turned it into a freakin EMO song where it was all depressed and slow. it was awful.
