I was actually at Disneyland the days the taped this part of the show with Miley. They taped it after the weeked after Thanksgiving, on a Sunday. They had do re-do it about 7 times to get the "best" take. Its was fun get off her back Prez you fat slob! I have some advice for Prez, take a shower, shave once in a while, loose some weight, and get a god dam fucken stylist. After all that, why dont you come back and scum bag everyone. Prez SUCKS we all know it! I be he stinks!

i thought she did a fabulous job considering she's only 13 years old. Quite frankly, no remakes hold a candle to the originals. Every artist that does a remake puts her/his own stamp on it. Look how the Star Bangled Banner is modified each time it's sung. Cut the teen some slack.

Miley was so adorable!! I agree it was very different than Mariah's version, but it was supposed to be. Miley has a very unique voice and she put her own touch on it. The audience was going wild so apparently they didn't care! It was cute, don't be such a scrooge!!
Perezs' opinion wasn't completely off. For a mega star in our country she wasn't amazing. However, she wasn't 'God awful.' It also depends on what video you watch. If you look it up on "youtube", she doesn't sound bad at all. There are different videos of it with different sound qualities. Overall the quality of her voice wasn't great (which can be expected of a 14 year old? 15 year old?), but she hit all the notes…

I can not believe the comments I am reading below. Did you guys not hear the song that I heard, have you not heard Mariah's version? Miley butchered the song, it wasnt her own style at all. Her vocal range is not the same as Mariah's and she could not hit the high or low notes.
If Miley wanted Xmas cover, she sould have done a song within her limits. This cover was horrible and an embarassment.

That song is HARDLY a holiday classic, and she didn't ruin it. The point of covering songs is to add something different to it, otherwise it would be boring. And I think the fascination with Miley is that she is an adorable, talented role model for girls who unlike everyone else, has some morals!

Ugh, just BAD. No one should ever touch that song, especially not Miley Cyrus. I'm a semi-Miley fan and I can admit that. She has some catchy songs, but her voice really isn't that great and "All I Want For Christmas Is You" is not a song you can lightly attempt to remake and COMPUTERIZE someone's voice as much as they did to Miley's.
And it's sad because there are going to be millions of kids who think this is THE original and best version of the song because it's Miley and it's all they've ever heard.
