I just can't shut up, nor could I when I was a kid. I always spoke my mind when I thought I was right, and still do, trouble be damned. And yes, women are still being oppressed throughout or society, but women like Madonna and my Mom (a bit of a Hippie)…have broken past those barriers. I never really thought how important Madonna was, but she has been a maverick who has drastically changed things in society, just in the span of her career.
Howard Stern, although not always right, and certainly not always a gentlemen, has provided a forum where women like Robin Quivers, his co-hostess, can express her sexuality wholly and fully…without shame and with an equal voice. The same is true of Howard bringing lesbianism to the forefront of society…and making it mainstream. You can't allow others to dictate your life to, and for you…or you will be left unfufilled and regretting it much later in life. I'm not saying go do porn, recklessly sleep around, or become a prostitute, or anything like that, but living a healthy sex life, and exploring your fantasies therein, with a non-judgemental partner is what we all dream of…and deserve. When you find someone like that, that is your soul mate, don't lose them. And this is the reason why it is important to openly talk about these issues, so we can find such soul mates. Trust me, a real man will not suppress you for you sexuality, or put you down…as a real man, has been raised by a real woman.

Thanks Zip, that was beautifully said- I have really appreciated having this discussion. There are many factors that influence our thoughts and feelings towards sexually- related issues, and for me one of the biggest was religion. I can't believe how much I am opening up about this- but I attended a catholic school when I was younger, and it wasn't until I reached high school that I attended a "public" high school. So unfortunately, as for many young children brought up through this system- you are condemned and made to feel ashamed of not only behaving sexually, but for having any sexual thoughts. And I have the most respect for those who wait until marriage to have sex, however my sex education, as I can remember for the most part was only "abstinence"- I actually remember doing a presentation on it for "health class".
And I found it very difficult transitioning from a catholic elementary and middle school to a public high school, where everything I had previously been taught was being challenged. And I am very appreciative from both experiences that I have had- and I agree as well that sleeping with every person you meet is not the answer, and that falling in love and having a deep connection with someone would be the ultimate goal for me in life, as I'm sure it is for many people. To find someone that you can share your heart, as well as your body with.

And so, it is a beautiful but difficult process to undergo- when you reach a certain age when you no longer have decisions made for you, but you are able to draw on what you have been taught, and what you believe in your heart is right.
And I have listened to Howard Stern (on Sirius Satellite Radio) a few times and I will admit, at times he is quite vulgar and it is a bit much to take listening to him. But I also understand he has a wide demographic to cover, and so he does his best to satisfy the entire age demographic tuning in to his show. I also respect him for having his opinions, and can appreciate for the most part the main hypocrisies within our societies that he is able to reveal and challenge. I couldn't agree more that you shouldn't let anyone dictate your life for you- it truly is the most wonderful feeling in the world to make decisions that you are proud of, and that you truly believe in from the bottom of your heart. I just think it is a shame to be taught that sex is immoral or wrong in general- or that you are disgusting for having those kinds of thoughts- especially when it is both natural and very healthy to have a desire for such a basic necessity in life.

And yes I cant't wait to see the "Dark Knight" , I was in best buy buying a music cd and the guy that work at the store struck up a conversation with me and told me at the begining of the movie "I am Legend" they show 6 mins of the "Dark Knight" I almost screamed in the store, but he said it was not much of my sweetie ( well in my dreams) Christian , it was mainly the bank scence, So I guess I will have to wait. Christian Bale will be playing a starring role in the next Terminator movie which should be a big hit. Rumor has it, he will be playing John Connor. Now…don't quote me on that until it is officially confirmed, but he is definately cast in the film. Alas, we will probably have to wait another two years to see the movie, but fingers crossed, maybe Summer '09.

I can recall the radio show Love Lines back when it was hot. A great show, or should I say, it used to be…long ago. It was an amazing place to get information on sex issues and find out about sexual experimentation. As such, there is no real place to talk about these matters, save for the internet. It's a shame really.

He's a really nice and intelligent guy. He has blue eyes, but one of his eyes actually occasionally turns brown…and then back to blue again, over and over. It is strange but true. I did not that was him until I watched the director Chris Nolan talking about how he had to really convince David that he was the only person he had in mind to play this particular Character and the director said that he had to really I mean really convince this guy to take the role. I mean It was so nice to hear how David take his craft as well as his reputation serious. You know what also, that's why I like certain actors and music artist they really care about their Gift. And yes, acting, real acting, is an art…and most entertainers these days are not real actors, just people who think of Hollywood as one big party…and assume the big checks will still be coming after they have publicly destroyed their reputations, like Britney, Lindsey and so on. After blowing their careers, they resort to reality shows to stay in the lime light and get those paychecks flowing again, from Brandy to David Hasslehoff (spelling???)…etc.
It's sad, but if you have a chance to make it, that chance may only come once, second and third chances rarely show up. Frank Sinatra had 3 chances, Billy Joel lost 3 fortunes and got them all back…Will Smith lost 2 fortunes…Tom Hanks almost lost his star before he got A League Of Their Own…and Steven Spieberg was almost hung-out to dry over the movie 1941, but his friend George Lucas picked him to direct Raiders Of The Lost Ark. Well, that's real commitment, luck and having great friends to save you when you are down…but it's also about not allowing yourself to turn into a partying socialite, drug user, drinker and sleep around. It all plays into how the press, the public and the industry views a person…and whether industry execs wish to run the risk of casting a person in a choice part who is untrustworthy. Now, if I had my pick, I'd choose someone who isn't a flake, someone who is a real artist, with the "Gift" you so often talked about in your post.
