Rosie O'Donnell is bothered by the fact that according to a new poll, almost 50% of Americans named her the most annoying person of 2007 - followed by Paris Hilton, coming in a distant second.
The former talk show host is so upset about her dubious distinction, that she's made this video about being dubbed most annoying.
Here's an excerpt of what she says:
"I apparently am the most annoying celebrity, according to Parade magazine. And, frankly, most celebrities are annoying. So, I agree. Celebrities are annoying and the fact that I am one is annoying. And I suppose I am the most annoying. But whatever. Why? Cuz I'm loud. Some people don't like me. Barbra Streisand likes me!"
Uhmmm, Barbra Streisand is annoying! It might help to name someone that likes you who is not annoying.

If you're referring to my comment (#216), it has nothing to do with her being female. She's always expressed her opinions. What has changed with her since she quit her show is her tone and hot-headedness. At times, you can see the veins in her forehead pop out. She tends to go off into rants a lot more these days, which is such a turn off that it's counter-productive to getting her opinion across. Case in point…when she went off on Kelly Rippa over the Clay Aiken incident. Clay has not publicly come out of the closet. Rosie took it upon herself to out him. I think she did that because she was raging and not thinking, unintentionally stating her "opinion" that he was gay. However, she never claimed it to be her opinion, stating it as if it were fact.
