Despite reports to the contrary, Nickelodeon will go ahead as planned and air the fourth season of Jamie Lynn Spears' kids show, Zoey 101.
They're probably hoping her teen pregnancy controversy will help boost ratings!
The upcoming season will be the last for the show, as it's always been planned.

Is this for real? This is so very shocking. How irresponsible. I might as well plop the kids in front of MTV and let them read Maxim. I hope parents join me and ban Nickolodeon. This is utterly incredible, irresponsible,and horrifying. There's no way they can use it as a lesson for young girls who idolize her unless they show her going to work everyday after school, dropping her kids off at a fat old babysitters, sitting in line for welfare and getting jeered at. Oh yea, and no designer duds.

Re: Keri – the problem with this decision is that the network ratings WILL suffer,,I have a 12 year old daughter that love's that show,,but i will no longer let her watch it……the PROBLEM that they will have to face is that is it fair to the other shows and stars on thier network when the stations ratings plummet and they start cancelling shows……it will be a landslide effect…it's not fair to the rest of the nickelodeon shows

Who cares if Jaime Lynn's show is cancelled? Lynne's circus is far better and crazier and more perversely entertaining than anything Nickelodian could produce, AND Lynne's trailer trash show runs 24/7.

The series was filmed BEFORE she got pregnant so that will not affect it. Also if the show was canceled that is just sending the message out that if you make one mistake your whole life should fall apart which is ridiculous.

Nickelodeon has been getting drastically worse over the past decade or so, and I can't believe they've gotten to the point where they're just going to let the whole thing slide. What a shame that the show will continue. We already have an out of control unwed mother problem in this country and all of the kids and mothers are on welfare and medicaid which puts a tremendous strain on all of our tax dollars. In addition it puts so much stress (financial and emotional) on the adult family members who have to help take care of them. We must start telling young girls how dangerous it is to start having sex at an early age. Women used to be very smart. Not any more.
