   Wow I can't believe how mean some of you people are, god damn. She might need to lose weight for health reasons, but calling her a "nasty fat pig," and saying "when she posed naked on the mag cover I threw up in my mouth a little" and such is just horrible. THAT is the reason why girls become anorexic, not seeing a picture of a larger woman. Maybe you should think about what you say before you say it, you could really be hurting someone's feelings.

   omg, how over am i of reading comment after comment attacking beth's body. i mean, i know that people feel entitled to talk about women's bodies in just about every context possible, but please, bitches, is what power is it that fat girls hold over you that makes you feel like you have to delegitimize them at every possible opportunity? i would venture to say that it is your internalized fear of your own inner fat girl. and a fat girl like beth who refuses to buy into shallow self hatred? why there couldn't be anything more frightening, could there? i mean, fat girls who LIKE themselves are just gnawing at our social fabric with bared teeth, threatening to unravel it ALL from underneath us. Public enemy #1! But really, get a life, or start respecting yourself so you don't have to spend your time doing this. I am a former Gossip-roadie and can tell you that if hearing beth's voice or seeing her pictures threatens you, you had better hope that you NEVER meet her, because she is even nicer, and tougher, and more brilliant and more fiercly self loving than you have even imagined, and that might REALLY scare you!
