She Will Drink You Under The Bus
Say hello to Terri Comer, an Oregon woman that was arrested a few weeks ago with a .72 blood alcohol level.
That's NINE times the state's legal limit!!!!!!
That reading wasn't an error either. The reading was accurate - they got it with a blood draw (no malfunctioning breathalyzer machine here).
Terri was also popped for a DUI in 2006. That's the mugshot above.
Last month, she was taken to the hospital after police found her beyond drunk and comatose in her car. She wasn't photographed at the time. But they did draw her blood, which came back at NINE times the legal limit.
They better get this mess off the road permanently.
Has a woman ever been booked with a .72 before???

actually, often times alcoholics, which i am sure this woman is, can handle much more alcohol than any "normal" person, since they have been conditioning their bodies to take more and more each time. so, as with drug addicts, they can, over time, drink much, much more than anyone who isn't an alcoholic can without it being lethal.
I know a guy had a .82 in 06…. I was in his jury haha guilty bastard!
WHAT THE FUCK WAS SHE DRINKING? ABSINTHE? EVERCLEAR? BOTH?
Jonas actually .72 is correct in the news, FOX says:
KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. — Authorities say a woman found in a car in Klamath County had a blood alcohol level of .72 percent, nine times greater than the legal limit for driving.
Sheriff Tim Evinger said it's rare to see readings higher than .30 percent. Levels of .40 percent to .50 percent are considered lethal.
Evinger said Terri Comer, 42, had been heading to her home in Keno last month, southeast of Klamath Falls.
An off-duty deputy found her in the car, which had plowed through about 100 feet of snow. Ambulance workers had to break a back window to rescue her.
Evinger said she was unconscious for 12 hours but released after a day in the hospital.
He said she was charged with drunken driving.
Re: l;asdfj – . a 1.35 BAC is impossible. That would mean your blood is 135% alcohol.
.72 IS NOT correct (and absolutely impossible to survive). She was .5 which itself can be lethal. Fox News is crap. Tell those idiots to do their research before publishing those numbers.
HAHAHAHAHAHA!
holy shit.
that puts me to shame.
I'm part scottish, irish and australian….
fuuuck, that woman can drink - i was just born to
yeah it is possible
i went to school with a girl who had a .81 blood alcohol level.
she was 15.
Wasn't she on that Intervention show????
#100 - MEDICAL EXPERT says – reply to this
.72 actually does not mean 72%…that would mean almost 3 quarters of her blood was alcohol! No one can survive on that. I believe it means 0.72%…now she has a chance at survival!
…. YOU ARE A DUMB FUCK!!! FIRST OF ALL, IT IS LIKELY THAT THIS NEWS ITEM WAS SENSATIONALISED BY THE MEDIA OUTLET REPORTING IT. IT IS ALSO QUITE POSSIBLE THAT A MISTAKE WAS MADE (AS SOMEONE POINTED OUT, USED AN ETHO SWAB TO CLEANSE SKIN PRIOR TO DRAWING BLOOD ETC).
ALSO, 0.72 DOES IN FACT RELATE TO 72%, BUT IN TERMS OF BLOOD ALCOHOL WE ARENT SAYING THAT 72% OF YOUR BLOOD IS ALCOHOL; THINK OF IT MORE IN TERMS OF 72% OF YOUR BODY IS AFFECTED BY ALCOHOL/CONTAINS ALCOHOL…
FINALLY, EVERY PERSON IS DIFFERENT, AND YES, SOME PEOPLE CAN HANDLE MORE ALCOHOL THAN OTHERS, BUT AS A GENERAL RULE .3 = UNCONCIOUSNESS OR HEADING THAT WAY, .4 = COMA/DEATH .5 = CERTAIN DEATH… THERE IS NO WAY THAT ANYONE CAN HAVE A LEVEL OF .72… THEY WOULD NOT EVEN BE ABLE TO REACH THIS LEVEL UNLESS THEY WERE PUT ON AN INTRAVENOUS DRIP OF PURE ETHANOL.
LIKE I SAID… MEDIA EXAGGERATING A LITTLE, OR SOMEONE MADE A BIG MISTAKE!
OMG! Amazing she wasn't DEAD! She needs to be permanently taken off the roads - thank God she didn't kill some poor innocent people, like other drunks do every day. Hateful, hateful, hateful to drive drunk!!!!!
.4 might kill an average person, but she's obviously alcoholic, which can build your tolerance up to extreme levels.
FIRST BITCHES!!!!!
PACA- P-PUT A C-COCK up my A-ASS-I KNEW P-A-C-A STOOD FOR SOMETHING! SUCK IT PUSSYBOY! HA HA HA!
Yes but if they used alcohol to cleanse her skin first it will be elevated reading.
I know what I am talking about I am a lab tech
my cousin had a DUI of 2.79…. which is bad.
and hilarious
WOW!!! I'll just bet her liver is so large and hard you could use it as a door prop.
wow, alcoholism is a terrible disease and unbelievably hard to quit. i think its disgusting that your using this womens (who is not even a celebrity) problems as entertainment.
congrats, you just sunk to a new low.
I CAN TOP THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
last month, where i live, a dude died after he got hit by a train in his truck after he drove onto the tracks around the gates. his BAL was .602! he was at .602 and was able to get in his truck and drive!
Perez why are you so stupid? .72 is impossible.
im in AA in san diego, and ive heard of ALOT worse. one woman was booked with a 2.46 blood alcohol level and somehow made it out alive.
obviously had alcohol poisening but FUCK dude… women can drink.
in my drinkin days i drank allll the boys under the bus.
how is that possible? .4 is dead!
Hence the term "stinking drunk".
who fuckin cares! is this your mama? what does this have to do with hollywood anyways, was she washed out actress?
ugh. perez, why must you embarrass us oregonians by posting this??????? why why why?? you should have said she was from washington!!
She didn't fucking die. Get over it, everyones body is fucking different. .4 is when an AVERAGE body starts shutting down. And this bitch is definently not average.
I'm currently a premed student and know for a fact that this woman would be long dead at .72. Breathalyzers are often incorrect and there are so many factors that will set them off to sense alternative factors that end up showing in the BAC read. Moreover, .4-.5 is fatal, let alone .72. My guess is that the BAC reading/ blood sample was off. After all, it's usually policemen not EMT taking the readings and lets face it– what do authorities know about medicine? This is a case of good journalism at best.
Ya i got booked with a 1.75 dumb ass! it's possible
Way to represent us Oregonians! Probably comes from some small town where all you'll find are churches, liquor stores and strip clubs. Oh, wait, that's SE Portland!
ok, people need to lighten up a little. i'm from oregon and this story was on the radio a few days ago. the woman's brother's friend was on the phone and was saying how she did in fact have a blood alcohol level of .72, which they also said was the highest BAL ever recorded. i think they meant in any state. and also, i was talking to a friend who is in medical school (OHSU) and she said that that means 72% of her blood is alcohol. according to that, people who are posting that they had above 1.00 are very wrong. (wouldn't that mean they have (100%) pure alcohol running through their veins?).
hmm..just my $.02.
[p.s. perez-i'm totally addicted to your website.

Re: hmmm… – I volunteer in a chemical dependency and alcohol abuse group and have extensive knowledge about blood alcohol issues. For once and for all, the reported BAC was 0.72%, which in decimal form is 0.0072. That is approximately 3/4 of 1 percent. As many have noted, it may be possible, although highly unlikely, for a experienced alcohol abuser to reach such a level without dying. I find comment #60, by Laura, interesting, although booze is ethyl alcohol and hospitals typically use isopropyl alcohol. A quick Google search reveals that while many lawyers suggest that isopropyl can throw off a blood test, an article in the Journal of Emergency Medicine finds that it cannot. I don't know, so won't call anybody else stupid.
