Roseanne's comments about Oprah are spot-on. She made me laugh very hard. Oprah is one of the most overrated, boring, self-indulged persons I've had to try to stomach- her New Age rhetoric is about as insightful and inspiring as having a finger shoved up my ass! The problem with what Roseanne said is that she is misinformed about Barack Obama's policies. If you compare their campaign websites, Senator Obama's policy recommendations are much more clear and comprehensive than those of Senator Clinton - their reforms on healthcare for example. Not only that, Roseanne is completely off the mark when she states that Senator Obama does not support reproductive rights for women. If you were to actually RESEARCH his voting record in Illinois, you would see that he voted 100% pro-choice during his tenure as senator. As to unions, again, if you actually looked at his policies - he advocates for the protection of unions and their ability to negotiate and strike. As for Roseanne's attacks against Oprah - really, it sounds like the bitter ravings of a jealous old woman. As for Senator Clinton, her track record is spotty at best, and in terms of pandering to corporate America, a July 15, 2007, NY Times article entitled, "Age of Riches; the Richest of the Rich, Proud of a New Guilded Age" notes how HIllary Clinton is vying for the support of the even wealthier than Oprah Warren Buffett. Considering Buffett's spotty investment practices in war-torn developing countries, such as the Sudan, it's a wonder that Senator Clinton is seeking his support.

Senator Barack's message of hope is novel and inspiring - and it is hope that helps bring about change. Fear, which underlies all of Senator Clinton's messages, only encourages the status quo, and personally, I'm sick of the status quo.
As for voting based on skin color, it's a shame that many of you think that Oprah is backing Senator Obama because he is black - funny, many of you also concede that you're voting for Senator Clinton because you're a woman - it's the same ridiculous and uninformed rationale. If you're going to exercise your right to vote, do so because you have independently researched the issues, the candidates, and their policies from legitimate sources, as opposed to using Roseanne or Perez Hilton (although your celebrity snark is amusing).

I agree with her completely!! All Obama does is say what the people want to hear. Anyone can look from the outside and come up with ideas on how to fix things, and that's exactly what Obama does. Have you guys actually taken the time to read his plans and issues on his website? I have. Sure, the majority of them sound good. Problem is, most of his plans are nearly impossible to implement and if he were able to implement them, they would fail quickly. Call Rosanne whatever you want to, but I'm sorry she is right on with this statement. Hillary is a much better Democratic candidate. Also, if Barack Obama gets the Democratic nomination, the Republican candidate (who will more than likely be McCain) will win the election in November. First of all, Obama is just as much white as he is black. His father came from Africa & his mother is a white woman from Kansas.

And of course Obama gets good press always accompanied by a photo of him standing proud on stage and smiling. I admit I jumped on the Obama bandwagon, but am having second thoughts. After reading about policies more closely and watching the debate, Hillary gets my vote.

I don't understand why people bring Rosanne's career up to shut her down, that has nothing to do with it. She is an American first, a washed up actress…second! She is totally entitled to her opinion!
Why is everyone so quick to bring down the people they may not agree with? Calling Hillary a "Cunt", Rosanne a "Drunk" and my favorite:
"Roseanne: Get a life - you are irrelevant you cow. Hillary is a fake. No wonder Bill cheated on her."
Thats lovely. I guess you all know these people on a personal level. Each one of them, including Oprah and Obama, are demonstrating what Americans are so privaledged with: FREE SPEECH! NO, calling someone a cunt or an attention whore isn't free speech, thats being ignorant. If you don't agree or believe what they are putting out there thats fine, no reason to bring them down with hateful words.
There is so many ridiculous comments!! Why are people discrediting Rosanne's opinion because she made a few typos!! Thats like telling someone that what they believe in dosn't matter because they wear their hair a certain way!!

it sickens me to see some people talk about how we need to make sure no more illegal mexicans get into our country. when that happens it will be the day all of you that have said that beg for them to come back. you will eat your words when you realize that there isnt one american who will pick our produce and work day in and day out in the heat and work as hard as they do for the few bucks they make. they are happy with the way it works. they come here live for 4 months pick produce and build our homes. some work on fake ss#'s but so what…….we take there taxes and they get no tax returns. so that helps our country if you ask me. then they go home and feed their families for the year with that little money that they make. it works for them and in my eyes it works for us. we get tomatoes for $3 a lb becuase they work cheap labor . if we had our men picking tomatoes we would pay $10 a tomato. if we didnt hire them to help build our homes we would pay triple for a decent home. everyone needs to leave well enough alone they are happy and we are happy. you think your unhappy…..but you wont realize how happy you are until your wish comes true
well this glowing review of hillary has convinced me all the more that obama is the right one. please roseanne, shut up. you make no sense. i am not sure why two huge unions would support obama if he is so anti-union. also, maybe instead of posting on your little blog, maybe you should go to obama's webiste, where he offers plenty of detailed, excellent plans for what he wants to accomplish. it's not too hard. also, any person who is willing to believe that hillary has "35 years of experience" is not worthy of my time. give me a break. do you think that being married to a successful politician makes you qualified to be President? Face it, without Bill, Hillary is nothing. Her only political experience is that of a SEnator. and the last time i counted, that was not 35 years worth.
It's not too hard. When we have a female president, I want a woman who MADE IT ON HER OWN. i want a woman WHO DIDN'T NEED TO STAY MARRIED TO A MAN TO GET HER WHERE SHE IS. voting for hillary and her deplorable tears puts back the cause of woman by 100 years.
and finally, let's compare, shall we? Roseanne: 90's sitcom star who is doing who knows what currently vs. Oprah: self-made richest woman on TV, influential and popular icon. i think i'll give Oprah's opinion more weight than Roseanne's.
