I agree with you. I voted for Clinton over Bush Sr because I was PISSED Bush half assed Iraq back in the start of the Iraqi-US war in 1991. Though he probably figured he had another term coming to him.
Clinton however, claimed he was going to be TOUGHER on Saddam than Bush Sr was. And wouldn't let the people of Iraq suffer under such a regime any longer. Than the US failed when the left the people of Iraq under such a ruthless dictator. All said while wagging that famous finger, biting that bottom lip, and looking serious. Clinton was a very charismatic speaker. Too bad he didn't follow through with his campaign promises.
Not only did Bill (I refuse to say "the clintons" as if we elected both into office. EVen if Hillary is taking credit for Bill'swork) NOT do anything about Iraq until his last years in office (Right around the time he got busted for lying under oath to distract) He did SHIT about the two times we were attacked by Terrorists in the 90s. Swept it under the rug. Pretended it didn't happen.
Then when he went to "balance the budget" He did the very thing you SHOULD NEVER DO, but any president could have done before him.
He cut Military, Defense, and Intelligence spending in half to balance the budget (Clinton's hated the military and vice versa) That is one thing you don't do. ESP during a time when we were being ATTACKED by terrorists. (This was well before Bush was in office..)
So when Bush had to INCREASE spending to these three things we never should have touched, to get them back in working order, the left cried OMG!!1 HE IS RUINING ALL TEH WORK CLINTON DONe!!11"

What I want to know is how a TALK SHOW HOST has taken control of our presidential election? Does no one else see anything wrong with this?? Oprah is not a God, and she doesn't know everything. She's right on the money, except for that apparent support for Hillary. Obama is an anti-american, no pledge saying, flag disrespecting muslim (Oh he converted away from islam? … yeah … sure he did … you just keep believing that). He is inexperienced and doesn't have a single solitary plan for this nation - just hype and buzz words. And Hillary's a great gal and all … but not a leader. Besides, I would NEVER want her feminist, man-hating, anti-family, anti-housewife ideology to have the kind of clout and power behind it that comes with the presidency.
