I wouldn't vote for Hilary just because she is a woman. I would vote for her because she has a heart and cares about the "little" people. Not scientologists, I mean the white as well as blue collar workers.

I'm in sales and Obama could sell anything. Good attribute for sales, not so good for politics. Be careful of hidden hatred with people like that. Black Magic. Dead Heart.

It is absolutely ridiculous when people pull themselves up by their own bootstraps (just like good R's supposedly want them to) and borrow 100k plus to go to school and have to pay 1000 a month at 8 1/2% interest with no ability to deduct their student loans. Student loans for many outweigh rent or mortgage payments for many and are financed for 30 years with no tax benefits. This has to stop. It is wrong. Furthermore, it is also wrong that people cannot afford access to healthcare. Hillary gets this! You should vote for her. We need a change in this country NOW.

if y'all think hilary clinton is interested in anybody but hilary clinton you are living in a fool's paradise…furthermore…how much power do you think a president has? she can't MAKE insurance companies or universities( who are funded by state govt and/or private funds)do anything…and since she is so strident and divisive it is unlikely she will get any cooperation from anyone.Wake up America…the clintons had their shot and sqandered it…give someone new a shot.

Groundbreaking, we need more money for education and healthcare. Typical of a liberal, throw money on a problem.

The truth is, Hilary gets paid big bucks in campaign contributions from Big Pharma to keep the USA as the worst health care system in the world. Osama receives the most kick backs from Big Pharma. Yep, USA has just received the honor of the worst health care system in the world. France was number 1, the best health care in the world.
Over 100,000 people in the USA die unnecessarity every year from NOT receiving health care. I bet everybody reading this knows somebody who has died because they didn't have access to health care.
We can spend billions on a war looking for WMD and Osama, but we can't afford to give each and every one of us universal health care.
We are so fucked! All the working class are dying and the rich bring in the Mexicans for labor.

How many years have the different presidents been talking about reforming health care???? Please nothing seems to ever change in American anymore.

    VOTE FOR HILLARY!!!!!!!
She has the desire, amibitions and dedication to do what Obamma's expeirence lacks. SHE HAS FOREIGN POLICY!!!

Tell me this at a time when Pakistan is on the brink of self destruction, Kenya is in ruins, Darfur is disolving and Russia is getting back to it's provocative ways how can one want to invest their vote in someone like Huckabee, Romney or Obama, all of which have little or no expeirence in foreign policy.

    115

I'm glad people with money like me can be taxed more to pay for shit ass people who can't get a fucking job. FUCK HILLARY! She cried in an interview, if she can't handle bad press then how the hell will she be able to handle running a damn country.

  16. gapeach says – reply to this

    116

Are you kidding?? Perez, I am shocked… I guess we all want to go to socialized medicine so us with insurance can wait in hospitals dying before we get healthcare so some random homeless person can be treated before us. You must also want about 70% of your salary going to taxes to help people who are lazy and can't get off their ass and work like the rest of us. Lets continue to support and encourage people to feed off the government right? She sucks and our country will be in shambles if she is elected. I personally will move out of America if she is elected…

Please, don't fall for this crap. EVERY nominee for the last 50 years has said the SAME THING when running for President. You know why? Because saps like you say, OH MY! SHE WANTS TO HELP EDUCATION AND HEALTH CARE…TISN"T HE/SHE GREAT??? this woman will say…she will promise ANYTHING to get back into that Oval Office. You should be very, very afraid of this family,.

i'm a huge hillary supporter, and even though that clip was scripted and planned, she is the candidate who has the experience to bring change. obama is not experienced. he has no advisers and has no connection to the advisers who will help him bring about all this change he talks about. he's a talker; hilary's a doer.

Can someone create a good YouTube Video with pictures of Hillary interspersed with things she is promising to do for this country set to some really cool song like they did when Bill was running with "Don't Stop Thinkin' About Tomorrow" or whatever that song was? Barack is a powerful force but he is form over substance. Hillary is the only one with the experience to bring about the change we need. You can't CHANGE things if you don't have the connections or understand how Washington works. Barack hasn't been there long enough to truly GET IT.

All Obama talks about is Unity this, and hope that… The Republicans arent looking to unite. They want to beat us and ruin everything we appreciate about this country. Hillary is the one who can stop them. They shake in their boots just hearing her name!

    132

The only reason Health Care is so expensive is because of government intervention. The government is taxing the hell out of hospitals, so they have no choice but to raise their prices to pay the taxes. Furthermore, if you think that MORE government is a good idea, even with health care, you are sorely mistaken. Hillary is the most unfit person for president. If you can't see that, then personally I don't want you voting. We are not a democracy, we are a REPUBLIC. Just remember that little pledge you used to take in school. Also, if you really want to believe that other countries have better health care, GO LIVE THERE!

This woman have stolen Obama words and his plan. Now she wants the young vote because it works for Obama. The Clintons are power hungry and will do anything and say anything to win. Hillary cannot bring the country together. 51% of the country hates her. She is racist! Implimented Racial profiling, implimented NAFTA, sold our secret to China for profit. NOOOO more of the Clintons. Blacks are fooled by the phony Clintons. They only think about themsleves and want more and more power to steal from the government. Scandtals, scandals, scandals. team hillary! all the way to the white house…this country and everything we used to stand for has been completely beaten and battered out of us. bush just may be the anti-christ -haha. but seriously though, if you cannot see the intelligence and experience hillary has..you must be blind! the ONLY person that can take this country out of the hellish mine pits we live in now, clean it off and put it back on the top shelf (where we belong, ps.) is HILLARY! she's truthful (hard to find in politics) and has amazing plans for the economy to get us back on track -LEAVE NO ONE BEHIND. did you see her healthcare plan covers EVERYone??? Many countries all over the world have this luxury while we suffer and go bankrupt trying to pay our medical bills. hillary IS going to solve this as well as many other troubling aspects in our economy. and did anyone see that she is trying to use natural resources instead of costly oil. GLOBAL WARMING is a problem. the one thing we have no control over is mother nature herself. BUT we can take steps towards making a cleaner earth thus making the effects that are pushing global warming near, dissapate. TEAM HILLARY!!!!!

Have you all heard the phrase 'follow the money'? That's what any discerning individual needs to do whenever ANY politician opens their mouth. Who is going to pay for all the wonderful education and health care? WE are! The government is not a money making entity. The only money our government has to spend is the money collected from its citizens. Don't be fooled into thinking that Hillary is going to make life easier. We will have less money in our pockets and fewer choices in health care, child care, housing, and education. Here is a piece I saw on Drudge this morning:

"The US is at risk of losing its top-notch triple-A credit rating within a decade unless it takes radical action to curb soaring healthcare and social security spending, Moody's, the credit rating agency, said yesterday.

The warning over the future of the triple-A rating - granted to US government debt since it was first assessed in 1917 - reflects growing concerns over the country's ability to retain its financial and economic supremacy."

Don't be sheep….do your homework and think critically about the candidates and the issues.

Hillary Clinton is and should be an inspiration to everyone out there…. for any woman who has tried to break through that glass ceiling and especially for ANYONE who cares about the future of this country. She is a passionate person who deeply cares about America and WILL GET THE JOB DONE! Her years of experience combined with superior knowledge is just what this country needs to survive.

Obama may seem like a good idea because he's can give an inspiring speech or two, but do you want someone to step behind the steering wheel before they even have a license? The answer is NO. His time will come. Right now America needs to be put BACK ON TRACK with a person who can make it happen!!!

    Booo Hooo, I lost Iowa.
I can't believe Clinton's phoney tears worked. Americans want more of the same political shit, 12-16 years of Clintons, 12 years of Bush.

Nothing will ever change. Next it will be Chelse or Jenna for President– and US voters will drink the same kool-aid over and over again.

Hillary will keep us in a Repub vs. Democrat stand off for the next 4 years. She is also stealing Obama's message like a deceptive politician does.

Gore endorsed Obama ( not Hill). kerry endorsed Obama ( not Edwards).

Wake-up people. Let's try someone/something new from where we've already been.

And, she'll never win the presidency, because 1/2 of american hates her to the core since her first lady days. remember "whitewater" and "travelgate"– all her crap. luv Bill but not legacy building Hill.

Setting aside the fact that there is indisputable proof that Hilary Clinton will say or do anything in order to further her own agenda (i.e. the Rose Law Firm billing records - research it!). I can totally understand being turned off by the anti-homosexual and anti-abortion messages of the republicans; HOWEVER, please do not throw your vote toward any one candidate or another because a blogger (I am a regular reader of Perez's website and enjoy it) indicates he likes what he or she has to say. And CERTAINLY do not vote for someone based solely on what they say they will do. ACTIONS speak much louder than words. Research these candidates yourself - find out what they have actually DONE. To be continued . . .

  67. Independent Voter says – reply to this

    167

Be aware that MORE GOVERNMENT involvement in healthcare and education will only lead to further corruption and incompetence. Just think about the last time you interacted with a government agency . . . how did they do? For example, if I have something important to send to someone do you think I use the USPS? Absolutely NOT - UPS or FexEx are much better choices. Capitalism works if government gets out of the way and lets it work. The regulations on healthcare in this country are stifling. And BTW - any hospital ER will give treatment to those in need. Also, the only way to "fix" education is to create a competitive environment. Competition breeds success. It makes sense. To be continued . . .

  68. Independent Voter says – reply to this

    168

One last note . . . every inch you allow government to control your lives opens the door to more control . . . I'm surprised that Perez hasn't put two and two together and realized what might come next . . . THE FIRST AMENDMENT ANYONE??? Hilary is already trying to censor talk radio with her "Media Matters" organization because she doesn't like what they have to say . . . what if she starts not liking what celebrity bloggers have to say? I think Perez you would be better served to encourage the youth in American to think for themselves . . . to do a little research . . . and make the best, most educated decision they can - whatever that may be. Off my soapbox now . . . hopefully one person will find this comment inspiring and start googling/researching/thinking for themselves. Thank you for reading . . .

Hillary CANNOT make gas cheaper!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ever hear of Supply and Demand? Europe is laughing as us when we complain about $3.00 gas. India and China are making more and more fuel demands in addition to our demands her in the USA. The only way gas will get significantly cheaper is if A) We find more! (Hillary is not talking about more drilling, using oil shale OR building more refineries) or B) Demand goes down (NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!).

    171

Thank you, Perez, for showcasing Hillary's brilliance!!!! It's about time. I totally believe that she will make REAL changes in our lives. She'll give all of us affordable health care (why is the US a "superpower," but behind the rest of the world when it comes to health?) and go after the predatory student loan companies. Higher education is a right not a luxury! Clearly, she has the experience and the vision to implement changes that we can really see in our daily lives. As she says, "there is a difference between rhetoric and reality." Obama is all about rhetoric, while she is all about executing plans. Go HILLARY!

I respect both candidates, but I'm really with hiliary on this one, i think its about time she reached out for the younger generation, I like Obama, but I personally feel he's still very new to the upper end of politics, he started with politics in the 80's and hasnt climbed up the political ladder, hes just taking a huge leap. I believe hes strong, but Hillary has a lot more experience and I feel she'd be able to make the most change… GO HILLARY!

I find it funny that people are slagging her for her appearence. Who the hell cares what she looks like. The only thing I am looking for is innovation and real change and it seems she is able to implement both. I also give her one up because of her husband. If Bill is behind her the sky is the limit. Bill Clinton was the best President of our recent times.

In April 2005, Berger pled guilty to a misdemeanor charge of unauthorized removal and retention of classified material from the National Archives in Washington.Berger currently serves as a foreign policy adviser to Senator Hillary Clinton in her presidential campaign.[2]
Please do not allow well known criminals back into the White House.

Mrs. Clinton is a radical Communist who will inlflict more pain on this country than Jimmy Carter. Anyone who votes for her is either really stupid or mentally ill.

I think Obama is more honest, and yet too idealistic to reallly know how to work it in Washington. If he were stronger and more experienced I'd vote for him. For now, Hillary is not a perfect choice but she's the best one for now.

I hate cynics…Maybe it's good that the Clintons failed at healthcare the first try…now they can alter their gameplan to get what they want. Just because you fail at something doesn't mean you're not going to succeed or affect change…I admire her persistence and experience.
She's way smarter than Obama. She's MY ticket.

Re: emmeroo – …they were saying how she wants to improve education tuition (get rid of interest loans, etc.) and make it easier for kids from non upper class families to get a good education and great jobs so they are not forever in the lower classes. Clearly you did not receive this education or else you would have understood the punchline of her argument. It's okay, she will change this so your kids won't have to suffer. I urge you to re watch the video and take notes.

Hillary has the know how and clout to make things happen. I bet Perez is pissed that his posting of her being real helped her instead of being negative.
If you don't like her message, don't vote for her. The problem is Obama doesn't have a message. "I want change" is the same message the homeless guy who hangs out at the local ARCO station says too.

Who is left out by Obama's health plan, Hillary? If you're going to lie, at least have the "balls" to follow through with your claims. The fact is that Hillary wants "change" within the already established system whereas Obama wants to change the system itself. HUGE difference.

    193

In Mr. Gore's circles, Mr. Obama is seen as most likely to get an endorsement. That is in large part because Mr. Gore and Mrs. Clinton often had a difficult relationship in President Clinton's White House. A new book, "For Love of Politics," details infighting between the vice president and first lady from 1993 until 2000, when Mr. Gore sought the presidency and Mrs. Clinton sought election to the Senate from New York.

I really don't care what your opinion might be when it comes to a female president. The fact is that she has the experience that is necessary for this job and to get us out of the mess we're in right now. It really won me over how she thinks that every American should have health care (not immigrants hopping the border without contributing to society) and especially children. I was considering voting for Obama but in reality he is just so inexperienced and really doesn't qualify.

The Clintons PROVE to get things done. The Clintons, Hillary, have the connections and power to pull this country back ON TRACK FAST when they get the white house back. Obama would be great, after a few years of learning and "de-greening" at the expense of our desperate country.
WE NEED ACTION and EXPERIENCE NOW!!! VOTE HILLARY! BE SMART!!!

So, this man who doesn't work, probably got his surgery from American taxpayers, gets his disability from the same, had kids he can't afford, and a mortgage he can't afford? Why should I pay for that? I don't even have a mortgage (can't afford it)

Gilberto Santana, 38, sat on the edge of a chair as Clinton sat on the brown leather sofa in his living room next to his wife and two young children.

Santana told Clinton how his wife, Elizabeth, a housekeeper on the Strip, was barely supporting the family single-handedly while he was unable to work for two months because of an operation.

"We're sort of struggling," he said. "We're getting there, but you have to be strong to make it."

Clinton asked the couple questions about their mortgage and his disability payments, and answered his questions about immigration and the war and health care costs.

Stroking the 4-year-old girl's head, Clinton said, "I feel so strongly that if we don't take care of our children, we don't take care of our future."

Santana said, "We are going to do everything we can to make sure that everyone in Las Vegas votes for you."

She's a control freak that would do anything for any vote.
She has no qualifcations or experience except at failure.
She has to stop borrowing her husband's resume!

*you may love what she's saying, but what she's DOING is taking money hand over fist from the insurance companies.
*I wish I could support her, Damn I'd love to be supporting a woman, but WHAT exactly is her 35 years of experience? WHAT? 18 +/- years of being first lady doesn't count.
*When you stop and REALLY look at what she's done since law school, it becomes apparent really quickly that all this "experience" she talk about is smoke and mirrors.
*In reality, her governmental experience and Obama's is virtually the same. They are both fairly new senators.

    Obama's the man.
