I love that Hilary said ONE sentence about healthcare and it got into your headline! What an idiot…. Hillary WILL NOT be able to fix our healthcare…. it will be left up to the lower end of government… the people who are already working on it!
Laurel- are you nuts? We have the best economy in the world? Then WHY am I paying $4.79 for a gallon of milk when just a few months ago I was paying $3.79. And why are we paying over $3.50 a gallon of gas? Prices of goods have gone up, wages have not… this means people can afford to buy less than what they could before, eventually those providing goods that they can not sell will start to go out of business, which means less jobs, which means less money… you get the picture I'm sure…. And the war in Iraq is costing us BILLIONS of dollars we could have used here to improve things domestically. Not only are we hemorraging money to fight a war thousands of miles away but now the world hates us even more… the dollar is so weak we can't travel to Europe because the only thing we can afford to eat is a melted cheese sandwich. Come on people, we went through this after Watergate with Jimmy Carter and for all the idealism it was a mess and we gave cart blanche to Reagan and the conservative era. In NYC when were tired of Koch, we were inspired by David Dinkins and same thing happened when he collapsed and we got eight years of Rudy. She may not be beloved, but Hilary knows how to work the system and a shrewd experienced politician is what we need or in four years Huckabee will be our prez when Obama tanks. In 8 years, Obama will make an outstanding candidate with more experience. Then it will be his time.

I have seen all of the democratic canidates many times and Obama is by far the best. Hillary's answers were all scripted and canned. she cannot think on the spot. that's why she planted people in the audience to ask her own questions. Obama, on the other hand, was more comfortable fielding questions and did an excellent job. he has the power to unite and he is so much more intelligent. hillary is corrupt and stoops low. I would love to see Hilary as our presdient. She is so passionate about this position, and not just because she would be the first woman elected. I highly think that she would make a FAR better candidate than the others, as well as our current president.

As a volunteer on Barack Obama's campaign since 2003 (recently relocated from Chicago to LA), I can't believe I'm saying this, but the recent events and press with Hillary have put me somewhat on the fence as a Barack supporter. I give Hillary's team and her full credit on how she's handled the primaries thus far. I used to view her as some what as a hardened candidate and now am fully convinced that she really, truly cares about this country, which is exactly what we need. Hillary has been inspirational this past week and it shows. I don't know how I'll vote myself, but I must say that I am re-thinking things now. Thx Hillary for speaking to the youth and showing that you truly care vs. just trying to get the vote.

The thing is we really do need right-quick democratic change in this country. Obama appears to be a good leader, but I do worry about experience. Bill was also a young president, and he made mistakes. Hillary had the fortunate position of having a front row seat of observance of what presidency is truly like in the white house.
On the other hand, I do believe it doesn't matter who wins. This country is run by the Federal Reserve and shit anyway. I wish one of these candidates had the idea to shut down the feds like Ron Paul. Unfortunately, I am sick of republicans what are the chances he would really do it…

I would just like to say that yes, our health care system does need to be redone but making a new one for everyone is NOT the way to go. Medicare and Medicaid is so fucked up as it is and we want those SAME people to create a plan for EVERYONE?!! How does that make sense? Hilary will definitely bring change… But is it the kind of change that we want? We need to fix the system we HAVE before we even THINK of creating a bigger one.

People don't actually THINK about what happens with socialized medicine, they just hear the world "FREE HEALTHCARE" and think they'll get the same quality of healthcare they receive under Blue Cross [or other privatized insurance].
