Btw, I think people are saying she is a bad parent because she is four hours late for a custody hearing to determine whether or not she will be allowed to visit her children.

It doesn't matter if she has to be there or not she should still be going! it would help her because it would show that she actuly cared but I don't think she does.
If she loses custody of the kids it would leave her free to do what she wants when she wants. I think she wants to see them but not have to care for them. I think it is crazy but thats the way I see it.
She wants to be like the fun aunt who takes them for the day and gives them lots of sugar and toys then gives them back and doesn't have to worry about them any more.

First of all this chick is a drug addict, if she has a mental illness it's because of all the drugs she's taken. She's a spoiled, self centered, sorry excuse for a mother! She's is showing the justice system that she does not care about having her children and they should not be allowed to be with her until she goes to rehab for a LONG time and cleans up her act. She has every resource available to her to get the help she needs and choses not to…I don't want to hear about this crack pot anymore. I feel so bad for those two boys, she doesn't deserve any kind of sympathy. She is PATHETIC and doesn't deserve the media attention she's getting.
I know that she avoided going to the hearings prior to this, and I think at that time she was avoiding facing KFed, and facing the music. Now though, she has another excuse. She's allowing herself to be led by her boy toy, and letting him think for her.

This is really, really sad. I strongly suspect the hearing in April will end up being to set a date to terminate her parental rights. Unless she checks herself into a facility before then and gets some help, I don't see family court giving her any more chances. Britney, if you love your kids, get the hell out of that house right now, in your pajamas if you have to, and down to the courthouse because you are about two steps away from losing them permanently.

Okay - why is she always at a drug store?? (yes, I realize that she is on meds…) but it seems to be that she is constantly photographed there. I live near a rite-aid, but I probably go there once a month or less. If the drug store is such a hot spot, maybe I should tell all of my friends and we can start going there all the time.

I felt bad for her after watching a video where she couldn't even drive because of all of the paps around her, but why does she need to go out that often? OH, for the attention, right? I was going to reply but you took the words right out of my mouth. A lot of people deal with depression and other types of mental illness. A lot of those people don't have the resources that Britney does either yet they still manage to get help. She has NO excuse. It's not about her, it's about her kids, and it's very clear she just couldn't care less.
She cannot be that sick as she is making business decisions , purchasing properties , signing legal documents , hiring new employees and issuing instructions , etc to her representatives something that someone cant do if they mentally incapacitated. they need to get a court order and get this girl committed so she can get help - she clearly is not in a sane frame of mind. Not only are her kids suffering from being away from their mother - but she is suffering too, from a form of mental illness - you have to remember that - she needs help and someone in her so called "caring" family should step up to the plate, get a court order and intervene - you can get orders so that someone becomes your guardian when it comes to your health and well being. Hopefully someone will soon, and save her.

She's been self-medicating, and until she acquires a psychologist/therapist, and a psychiatrist, and LISTENS TO THEM, and DOES THE WORK REQUIRED TO GET WELL, she won't get fully well. She is refusing to admit reality, and is running headlong for a cliff. The question is, if she survives the fall, will she be strong enough, and stubborn enough to pick up the shattered bits and make enough new bits to start over, or will she just phone it in?

Again, being mentally ill is not an excuse for not accepting help WHEN IT COMES TO YOU ESPECIALLY, but also for going to find help when it is obvious that you cannot cope. (And I believe even she realized this when she found herself in the hospital during her mental breakdown.) I know this intimately, I have personal experience with Manic Depression in the family. She needs to shit, or get off the pot. People have come to her, offering her help, trying to help her, and she has kicked them out of her life because they said things she didn't want to hear.
