Australian media is reporting that Nicole Kidman's father is planning to deliver her child with the help of her mother, as they did for Nic's sister Antonia.
Antony Kidman is a mental health specialist but not a medical doctor. His wife, Janelle, is a trained nurse.
Will they be able to giver her an epidural????

OH MY GOD. THIS IS JUST SO STUPID. HER SISTER HAD HER PARENTS IN THE ROOM WHEN SHE GAVE BIRTH CAUSE SHE WAS ALONE - HER HUSBAND HAS LEFT HER. THEY WERE THERE FOR SUPPORT, NOT TO DELIVER THE BABY! THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT. MANY FAMILIES MAKE BIRTH A FAMILY AFFAIR. As for Nicole. Good luck to her and Keith. Who she wants in the birthing suite with her when she delivers is her business. When a woman is in that much pain she can have anyone she wants as far as I am concerned!

Childbirth is not an ILLNESS requiring a doctor. It is a natural part of life. Had two kids no Dr. did GREAT! No drugs either. You go to the hospital when you are SICK, pregnancy isn't a sickness either. The hospital is where all the really BAD germs live, who wants to have a newborn baby there? Ask Dennis Quaid. If something is wrong with your child the hospital will keep it on life support to harvest the organs, if that is something you would not want, don't go there.

i don't understand why women think they have to have drugs to have a child. i had two without drugs. it hurts a bit, but once its over, its over. you feel great, just like a really hard exercise session. the baby isn't all dopey from an epidural and can nurse normally with no problems, you aren't all whacked out. wha tis the downside here?
People it is all a scam! Some of my unethical nursing colleagues in Australia accessed Nicole's records a few years back at a Sydney hospital where she had been several times, those records indicated that Nicole has the genes of a man & a woman & therefore she cannot conceive, think about it, she's nearly 40 has never had a baby, she alledges to have miscarriages & now she announce she's pregnant @ 6 weeks, if you had a history of miscarriages you would not announce your pregnancy until you were past the danger zone. Why is Daddy dearest delivering the baby? Because it is all a scam, Nicole will be getting around in one of those fake baby bellies they wear in the movies whilst meanwhile they've paid some knocked up red headed 15 year old for her baby who they are keeping locked away until the birth & Daddio is using the cover story of delivering his daughters baby so nobody knows the truth because Nicole won't need to present herself to hospital.
No way would either my mom or dad be delivering my baby…
And #11…….I've had five kids and with each one my doctor was there way before "the head pops out"….don't act the authority on a subject when you are so clearly ignorant.
