Lisa, you nailed it EXACTLY!! She can't handle the kids right now because she can't even handle herself. Mental illness is a scary, scary thing. I hope that a year from now, everyone will look back and see this as the turning point in which people in North America began to understand that mental illness for what it really is - a disease, much like cancer. Nobody CHOOSES to live their life this way. I'm sure Brit is doing her best at handling what is going on in her head and what it is physically doing to her body. But she is likely not even aware of how bizarre her behaviour really is. I hope she is able to somehow get help before she does try to take her own life.
