when will you fuck heads learn that apple products are garbage. every device i have ever had made by apple had broke down either right away or shortly there after. on the other hand microshaft products have never broke down on me.
Macs and PCs both have pros and cons. As an owner of both I can actually say I like both for different reasons.
My PC has NEVER had a virus (but I have nortons…which I need to renew every year). Sure macs don't get viruses, but your PC doesn't have to if you take care of it!
It's all about preference! Get what you feel you will like better and stop preaching all that garbage!

I love my mac, but this thing isnt that great. its so small it doesnt have the capabilites to add anything, if you want to play a cd you need an adapter and connects through the usb port. Its cool if you want a portable computer for basic needs if you already have your own "real" macbook….I wish they came out with the tablet
I can't believe how quickly my obsessive macbook pro love just turned. The computer I'm using to lust over its replacement now just looks HUGE and obsolete. Dammit Jobs.
Apple has great products. I used to own Microsoft, but I had so many problems. I have owned 3 different Macs in 10 years and I have had no problems, viruses, etc… The only reason I have owned 3 is because I like to upgrade every 3 or so years. This laptop looks amazing, though! They are definitely innovative…ya gotta give 'em that!!
i would break that in 5 minutes.

steph is right…a super-thin laptop like this will not have a CD/DVD drive. the drive will come as a separate unit you have to plug in to use. my ultra light and thin Dell is this way also.

this is RIDICULOUS.
the 1,799 model has a hard drive that isnt as reliable as the other 3,098 model and still at that price i would prob not get this computer unless i owned an imac or a mac pro desktop because the air isnt fast enough or holds enough for me. to get this laptop and use it as your primary computer is very useless because of the speed and hard drive. but thats what happens when they fit it all into a skinny computer. which is very innovative to fit any of that in this computer at all. the whole idea of this computer actually is extremely innovative, but for my usage very useless. although i do love the track pad abilities. i want them on my macbook pro. and the whole wireless software installation.

oh also they replace the battery for you for free i heard if something goes wrong. but if you do your software/battery updates you shouldnt have problems with anything at all.
and this product helped intel produce the new intel core 2 duo chip which was created because of the partnership formed between intel and apple. so bravo for that.

yes you can. its wireless. you put the cd/dvd into any other computer have it be pc or mac and window will pop up on the other computer once you connect to it wirelessly and the window will say accept or decline and then the cd or dvd will show up on the macbook air.
It doesn't play dvds. But hell, if it can make you cum, who the fuck cares!?

The Air is much overpriced. Why pay 1799 for something thats slower, has less battery life, and many less features (only 1 usb drive, no optical drive, etc). You can get the Macbook for 1099 and its faster with more features!
as a mac fanatic myself ( we have the same macbook perez) i almost creamed in my pants when i saw that on the apple website.
