Wow. This is some serious shiz!
It takes something really mayjah to get Rosie O'Donnell to speak in half sentences (as opposed to her usual haiky style).
The former talk show host just posted the following entry on her blog about Britney Spears, the next Princess Diana, in her eyes.

I remember the tunnel as it appeared on the news, lit by headlights, flashlights, red lights. Between the cement tall pillars was a heap of twisted metal. I saw it then, and I can see it now. Diana dead.
She will be trying to get away, but they will chase her, just as they chased her into that church yesterday. There were dozens of them, jostling their way into sanctuary, elbowing past each other, just to creep closer to her. Even her last-minute, folded-hand prayers can’t be kept sacred. There can be no silent moments in a crowd; no silence, and no secrets.
All this fresh, painful frailty costs her so much, but it lines their pockets very well. A kings ransom was paid for those tabloid-ready cheap shots of her with messy hair, tear-soaked eyes, and the half-smile of a desperate baby girl.

Sometimes it really is too much. Internal wires cross. Anxiety hits. Panic sets in the heart. Dread. Fear.

At eight years old, she bravely stood before a microphone. By 17, she had sold 25 million records. Where were the sidewalk-skinned knees, the chalk stained hands, the monkey bars, the passed notes? A Disney set is not a childhood, no matter how many bright colors they use, or how cheerful the script.
Not a girl, barely even a woman yet, they chased her. A mob of stalkers for whom no stalking laws have been written. Smother. Crush. Flash. Photo Credit. Even Dr. “Get Real” Phil got in on the action. Unreal.

It was forced upon Diana and once she was married there was no going back. Brit could get away from this if she really wanted but she is a fame whore…she wants it. She could have a protective family and friends around her but she doesn't want it. She could go back to her hometown and I am sure they would rally around her. But instead she gets her kicks but going around half naked doing stupid shit.
I don't disagree that she may end up dead like Diana but Britney is asking for it everyday…with every stupid stunt she pulls.

Britney needs to wake up and put her 2 beautiful boys first. She is a mother -regardless whether or not the boys live with her. I have never met a mother who puts herself first. That is just wrong. I would take those boys in a heartbeat, and so would a lot of other people. She needs to grow up…
OMG. Shut the eff up Rosie! You're only encouraging her! We all know her self-worth is completely dependent on and wrapped up in how many cameras follow her around. As a mother, my self-worth is so wrapped up in my role as my kid's mother. When my kid's were little, I couldn't wait to get home from work to see them, and they would run around squealing with joy to see me. That's happiness and fullfillment. Not hanging out with some bottom-feeder scumbag and shopping for shit you don't need.
And there are plenty of other 'Disney Kids' who are just fine now, thank you Christina and Justin and the rest. Blame her parents, not Disney.
Re: acm – I don't believe she is saying she's like princess diana, she's saying the situation is the same. Princess Diana was stalked by the cameras and so is Britney, whether she wants to be or not eventually the same thing could happen to her.

Wow. Comparing Brit to Princess Diana. I think Diana kind of did alot of things for children who had been injured by land mines. I think Diana was a humanitarian. I think Diana did ALOT for others. What has Brit Brit done for anyone? Not shit. So. With that in mind the comparison is lost. Brit could only hope to go as non-fault as Diana. Brit Brit will go by her own hand or her continued STUPIDITY. She is not a true celebrity. She is a Pop disaster train wreck that the pblic cannot get enough of the disaster called Britney. I don't personally care for Rosie, but I totally agree with this blog! I feel for Britney. I'm not a fan of hers either, but she truly is a sick young lady and needs help. People, including the media need to leave her alone and let her get help.

Now she feels like her babies are being ripped away (which, yes, it's kinda her fault, but she needs help, people!), so she's got all the reason in the world to be upset! I actually am afraid to turn on my tv in the morning incase something terrible has happened to Britney, a young mother in my country, England, got out of bed during the night,at the weekend, put clothes on on top of her pyjamas and walked across the motorway, freeway in the US i believe, SHE DIED AFTER BEING HIT BY A FEW VEHICLES, postnatal depression is suspected. When did mental illness become acceptable bait as entertainment, I fear how far in the gutter our press and media are prepared to go, i had to sit my daughter down and explain what could be britneys problem but i also told her, you stand by those you care about and show compassion for others, its what makes us human.

Britney is mentally ill and needs to get help. If she is bipolar, she is one of her manic episodes and has been for months.
