BRITNEY’S SUICIDE NOTE
The warning signs were there - but few knew the extent of Britney Spears' anguish, until now. Days before Britney was rushed to the hospital on January 4, she left a suicide note, In Touch has exclusively learned. According to the insider, the troubled pop star, left it on her bathroom counter, where it was allegedly found by Sam Lutfi. "The letter was very sad," says a friend. "It was filled with reasons why she shouldn't live, included lines from poems about death. She said in it she was sorry for never making her life what everyone else wanted. She mentioned how lonely and unfair life could be, how peaceful death seems and how your mind would finally be at ease." The friend adds, "She went on and on about wanting to just rest in peace."

You would think people, including you Perez, would have a little more compassion for someone who is obviously suffering from some type of mental illness. In these cases, often the individual is in a state of mind that prevents them from acknowledging their condition or from seeking help. That is no reason to wish ill upon them. People who have mental illnesses don't ask to be sick any more than someone who has autism or cancer does. A little empathy and understanding would be nice to see.

I can understand how Britney feels. I am in my late 40's and always had high expectations from everyone around me and tried please everyone but myself. I finally have realized that I need make me happy first and not expect so much from life. I am starting to feel better about my life. I hope that Britnet works things out and find happiness

Obviously people have no heart. Im sure if alot of peoples lives were lived under a microscope it would look alot worse than hers is right now. I know mine would be rather dramatic. She really may have written the note because she was sent to the hospital as a special attention case, which means you pretty much had to have been suicidal. It's bullshit, though, reading some of these ignorant comments coming from people who keep bringing money into the equation. When are some of these idiots going to figure out that this is about a mental condition and has nothing to do with money and everything to do with being a lonely and troubled human being? People's ignorance is just completely disgusting when it comes to her situation, and I don't know how people just don't have a bit more compassion. Yes, she's seriously messed up, but it's still sad the way that no one is there for her now that she's no longer on top. It goes to show just how fair weathered fans and friends can be. At this point, I'm really not surprised. She really needs to be put in a hospital for a long time and not go out in public until she's better. Growing up in the spotlight would probably make someone go a little nuts, especially when everywhere she goes she's surrounded by flashing cameras and paparazzi, but if she really wanted to, she avoid that by not going out. But its her life, and sadly it's been pretty entertaining to read and talk about.

I really feel bad for her. I'm guessing she's suffering from post-partum depression. The poor girl is not OK.
