The body of actor Brad Renfro was found dead at his home in Los Angeles on Tuesday.
The immediate cause of death is not known.
Renfro has had a history of severe drug abuse and repeated legal issues.
He was just 25.

i loved him when i was a teenager, he was great in that nazi thing movie. just saw him in an l&o svu repeat the other day and thought maybe he had got his life back on track. bless.

He was just 25 and anyone that can't respect the fact that a young person just died is even more unfortunate , celebrity or not , good actor or not , he is a human being and it is truly sad what this world have become , so many mean and heartless people around, for me Brad Renfro was a good actor and it is unfortunate that he became hook on drugs , but still I will always have respect for him as an actor and a very young person who went after his dreams of being actor and he was good being one may he rest in peace and I hope his family and friends can cope and get thorough this very sad times for them

This is truly sad. I just saw him in Bully, 2 nights ago. Brad Renfro was such a good actor. I remember wondering if he ever kicked his addiction. Usually when someone OD's, especially on heroin, it's because they've quit for a long period of time, then use one last time. Their tolerance for the drug becomes so low from not using for a long time, so when they take that last hit, it's just too much for the body to handle. Drug addiction is one of the hardest battles a person can fight…RIP.

I just seen that movie Bully with him in it 3 days ago. The movie was very disturbing to watch to say the least. Very sad that such young and talented person had to die in this way. So very sad.

What a great man. It is sad that he lost his battle with drugs. He was a great actor. I saw him in Hollywood last fall. Even with all his sadness, he truly stood out just walking the sidewalk. Just stinks, but hopefully others like Britney will learn from this. People can say what they want, but no one should feel depressed enough or forced to die.

I love Brand Renfro, I was so sad to hear this news ! I know he battled drug addiction. I was hoping he would be ok, his work is so good. He was so talented. He was a scene stealer, he never got bigger roles. Probably because Hollywood is so caught up on esthetics , instead of talent. He will be missed, I love his movies and tv work. I just saw him on a Law and Order Criminal Intent episode. He was amazing ! It's so sad.

Brad was a talented actor that we first saw in the client. he was very young performing a dramatic role. he did great. sleepers was such a tragic movie (and book if any of you have actually read it) that you fell in love with him. Even one of his last performance "10th and wolf" still haunts me. Brilliant actor. We don't know what he died from at this time but, what we do know is that he had a history of drug abuse; however, he has been clean at least since june. Couldn't it be possible that his heart had been thru so much that it just died?
Point being, he was actually talented. He worked with some of the best in the business and DESERVED to because he had the talent. It really is sad. I know my thoughts and prayers are with him and his family tonight.
He was in quite a few things. But when he was 13 or so, he was in one of my most favorites "The Client" a big screen version of John Grisham's bestseller. Susan Sarandon played opposite him. One of the best remakes of a book I've ever seen and a damn fine movie. (Unfortunately much better than most of the tripe that comes out these days. Sad.
