Republican presidential hopeful Mike Huckabee wants to change the constitution.
Why?
Because "God" is not happy with it.

"I have opponents in this race who do not want to change the Constitution," Huckabee told a Michigan audience on Monday. "But I believe it's a lot easier to change the Constitution than it would be to change the word of the living god. And that's what we need to do — to amend the Constitution so it's in God's standards rather than try to change God's standards so it lines up with some contemporary view."
Huckabee also wants to amend the Constitution to prevent children born in the U.S. to illegal aliens from automatically becoming American citizens - a radical step no other major presidential candidate has embraced.

WASHINGTON - A former congressman and delegate to the United Nations was indicted Wednesday as part of a terrorist fundraising ring that allegedly sent more than $130,000 to an al-Qaida and Taliban supporter who has threatened U.S. and international troops in Afghanistan.
Mark Deli Siljander, a Michigan Republican when he was in the House, was charged with money laundering, conspiracy and obstructing justice for allegedly lying about lobbying senators on behalf of an Islamic charity that authorities said was secretly sending funds to terrorists.

I love SF - what a great city! Nope, not the valley! Ventura county is more north. I live about 45-50 min. south of Santa Barbara. Regardless of where you live in CA - it is turning into a zoo. If the people that wrote the constitution, centuries ago, when God had a more vital part in people's lives, didn't think it was necessary to change their constitution to God's standards, why would you need to do that now? Your just as bad as all the religious pieces of shit that try to force their religion on other people. Prayer is alright in school and such, as long as the kids that don't want to participate can do something else. I think that the public school system has not been effected by taking prayer out. All it caused was problems. That is what Sunday school is for. That is what religious private school's are for. People CHOOSE to send their kids there. Good for them. I went to public school and never had prayer. I turned out fine. I think prayer is a waste of time. I would rather be doing something productive. I hope that things happen, and I have faith that things will go the way I want or get better, but I don't pray or shit like that. I just do something to make it happen.
Also, our constitution IS our foundation, you got that right, but the thing is, is that in our constitution there is something about SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE. And don't forget it. It is always going to be there. It is never going to change. I do know what I am talking about when I write this as well, and know one thing, that whoever I end up voting for, it sure as HELL isn't going to be Huckabee.
