Republican presidential hopeful Mike Huckabee wants to change the constitution.
Why?
Because "God" is not happy with it.
For real!
"I have opponents in this race who do not want to change the Constitution," Huckabee told a Michigan audience on Monday. "But I believe it's a lot easier to change the Constitution than it would be to change the word of the living god. And that's what we need to do — to amend the Constitution so it's in God's standards rather than try to change God's standards so it lines up with some contemporary view."
Huckabee also wants to amend the Constitution to prevent children born in the U.S. to illegal aliens from automatically becoming American citizens - a radical step no other major presidential candidate has embraced.
We've said it before and we'll say it again: this idiot is worse than Bush!

by the way…READ the Constitution!!! god is NOWHERE in the document. u bohunk ignorant fools should actually read it. god is mentioned in the Declaration of Independence one time (they are two separate documents, in case u didn't know). Scholars believe they were referring to the "god of nature" since the referrence is to a "natural god," rather than the God of the King James Bible. Study some history retards!! The founding fathers, with the exception of that nut John Adams were notoriously not Christians. Most were diests, which is similar to the agnostics of today. The founders left England because King George was forcing a certain religion on them. To claim that America belongs to one religion goes against the founding principles of this country. All of the people who want a theocracy should move to the Middle East, they're all over the place over there. You should be very happy with the government telling you how to live in the name of allah, er…god. Send all bible-beating psychos to Gitmo for water-boarding, etc. (all in the name of Jehovah and peace, of course).

That is one of our problems in this country, mothers crossing the border to have their babies and then being allowed to stay, and be supported by hard working AMERICANS just because her water broke on US soil. You guys are paying taxes for everything, why aren't you complaining about paying taxes for Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise, and Barbara Walters so they can get their nice salary. As for the religion issue, its suppose to be separation of church and state. I am tired of these people from the south that are elected politicians by uneducated people from their hometowns. Why is that they are so quick to not understanding about culture, diversity and what it means to actually go to school but are so quick to elect someone because He believes in God? The principals of this country were set because the Pilgrims came here to escape religious persecution. You know what that means? it means they were a group of people who didn't want a specific religion to follow and thats how it should be. For the women that are complaining that their children don't celebrate this and that in school, There are soo many private catholic and other schools who follow your beliefs. Why bring everyone else down because they don't believe in God? this is why we have FREEDOM OF RELIGION. Be happy for the fact that you are able to practice Chrisitanity on your own free will rather than in the middle east, where religion is forced and mandatory. You have women in the south who cannot make decisions wisely without consulting her "preacher man". Religion has too many double standards. I bet Huckabeee would love to have the nation have sex after marriage but he wouldn't get rid of sex from the movies and tv shows because they're part of his cinematic pleasures.
