The paranthetical assurance next to the REQUIRED email field plainly states, & I quote: (will not show on comment).

Anything sent vie electronic mail unless protected under copyright laws is owned by the recipiant and said email and they have the right and freedom to deceminate it as they wish. The law is on Perez's side on this one. 100%

Perez absolutely did. He had NO WAY of knowing whether it actually was an email sent from this person, it's very very easy to send a message from someone elses mail of you know what you're doing. A friend of mine rarely sends anything from his own email because he's a paranoid fucker, he simply picks a company, looks for a name online and bang.
Getting someone fired is serious. Not everyone has a nice bourgeois family home to run back to.
Anyone who takes the time to send an email to this guy or his employers just because he said something (only very slightly) mean about someone you've never met deserve a shitload of bad karma.
