Legendary chess genius Bobby Fischer has passed away.
He was 64.
The notoriously reclusive Fischer, whose life was turned into a film, died Thursday after a serious, but unspecified, illness, his rep said.
Bobby - to this day - is America's only world chess champion, after defeating the Soviet Union's Boris Spassky at the height of the Cold War.

The title refers to the search for Fischer's successor after his disappearance from competitive chess, In the book on which the film is based, the narrator/author actually looks for Fischer for a brief period and imagines what he would say to him if found.
Fischer denounced the movie, claiming that it was part of a "Jewish conspiracy" to sully his name and make money off him at the same time.
I'd heard on the news he died of kidney failure following a lengthy illness.
The movie "Searching For Bobby Ficher" was not about him.

IT'S OFFICIAL. CAUSE OF DEATH WAS KIDNEY FAILURE. He had previously declined medical assistance for his illness. He was found dead at his home in Reykjavik, Iceland by his friend and spokes person, Einar S. Einarsson, the same person who fought to get Fischer Icelandic citizenship in order to get him released from a China prison in 2005.

Iraq and Iran fought way before the U.S. became directly involved in the Middle East, and millions of people died as a result of their conflicts as well. So do some research, read a book, and maybe you'll realize that one country is not the cause of the world's problems. We've all worked hard to fuck this planet up, even if you do not want to admit it. Pointing at one country and saying "You're the bad guy, you've fucked up the entire world" is easy to do, but is completely incorrect.
