This is surprising!
Paula Abdul is not planning a musical comeback, but she did do a one-off song for her fellow American Idol judge Randy Jackson's new album.
And it's good!!!!! It's actually really good.
Shocking, right?
Sure, the vocals are manipulated beyond belief, but so are Britney's!
The song sounds like something that should have been on Spears' last album or Janet's new one.
It's called Dance Like There's No Tomorrow. It premiered on Seacrets's radio show, and it is bound to go to #1 for Abdul and Jackson on the club play charts.
They may even play this on the radio! It should be played. It's better than a lot of the crap on radio right now.

they girl claimed she sang with paula, it was proven wrong in front of a court, then she came out with her second one and did rush rush, which is awsome, then blowing kisses in the wind, and her third cd had like 4 ballads on it.

It's great. Never really liked Paula when she was big - but this song is reminiscent of that era - the wild and crazy, fun and simpler 80's. Miss those days and all those dance halls.

I think it is funny as hell that a woman who sits in judgment of singers has to have her voice enhanced by a computer. Now all those no talents who audition for Idol and say that they don't need to sing well to make a record can point to Paula as a prime example. You might as well just look for a pretty, young face and hook them up to a computer. Too bad Paula doesn't even qualify as a pretty, young face.

It was generic….Every pop song sounds the same anymore and it's really sad to think that she cares so much what everyone thinks that she is going to make a fool of herself to try and prove a point. Don't you think that she put this album out because of so many seasons of people going out of that room on Idol saying that she is a has been that had one hit in the 80s. All the doctoring on her voice makes her sound so much younger then she is and her pose for the album cover makes her look like a joke. It's obvious that she just is trying to show everyone that she still has it and quite frankly she doesn't. Sometimes we just have to let the past go and just because she is some what famous again because of Idol doesn't mean that that rule doesn't apply to her as well. And she should not try and sing that song at the Super Bowl….cuz I really think she'll get laughed off the stage…

I dont know who is singing that song, but the background vocals are so much louder than Paulas that you can barely even her her. She always has been known to template a lot (someone always singing along with an artist to belend them into a better voice) and this song is no exception.

I never understood why Paula always got such harsh criticism on her vocals when Janet Jackson and Madonna didn't sound any better. None of them are Mariah or Whitney and they don't claim to be. Back in the day I enjoyed Paula, Janet and Madonna because there songs were catchy and I loved the dancing. The main thing with Paula was that she was an awesome dancer and performer. People who went to her concerts said that she put on an amazing show and at the end of the day, that's all that matters. GO PAULA!
