1. You don't even know if she was pregnant, you don't even know if she did have an abortion.
2. Abortion is legal, and according to some stats, as many as 1 in 3 women (which means 1 in 3 men) in the USA have had one. That's a third of the people you know, love, and rely on in your daily life.
3. Being a PETA spokesperson and having an abortion aren't mutually exclusive; lots of naturistas believe that the best thing for animals and nature is zero human population growth. She's had two kids, that's the limit for responsible reproduction.
4. People on these boards call every beautiful woman over 25 a "washed up diseased old whore" etc etc. Folks, no one stays young forever. Re: whateva – Do you know how many willing & loving families there are out there who are trying to adopt? It can take years before a couple are allowed to adopt a child. I know three families who have adopted children, and the process took 3-6 years! You can't just walk into an orphanage, pick out a kid and take it home — unless you are a celebrity in a third world country. It is a long, grueling process with tons of paperwork & screenings. With all the women choosing the easy way out of their pregnancies (abortion) it is getting harder and harder to adopt a child.
First off, with all the diseases Pamela Anderson has, she should have been using protection! Secondly, at her age she probably doesn't want/need any more kids. So why doesn't she get fixed?

Okay, I'm terribly curious as to your age; however I would speculate that you are young and have not been in the situation of having to make a choice such as this. Calling an abortion "theraputic" is crazy and simply a way to make the person doing it feel better about such a horrific choice. The reality is that their is nothing remotely theraputic about it. There are ways for responsible and mature people to ensure that they don't get pregnant, so choosing abortion without a medical reason is simply taking the easy way out. It's selfish and irresponsible. It's great that you are pro choice and think this is all about a woman's body, but this is a whole lot more about people not taking responsibility for thier actions and terminating a LIFE by doing so.

I am married to a doctor. I have a masters degree in nursing and midwifery. I disagree with you when you say that having a therapeutic abortion is 'the easy way out', I also disagree with you when you say that it is 'selfish and irresponsible'. On the contrary I believe that it is a responsible thing for women to do. It is my belief that falling pregnant by 'accident' is the irresponsible thing to do.
