   Perez probably doesn't like her because she's smug…she pretends to be so far removed…so inner-directed but the truth is her brass is probably a defense mechanism, a facade to cover her lack of self-esteem: "oh I'm so indie. I don't care to be pretty or typically American." And, her sense of style, praised by many, has been called just as phony…some say she's merely engaging in trends in other parts of the world (the same argument many make about Gwen Stefani) which translates in American tabloids (which are, you know, obsessed with the most vapid whoremasters so much so that they're totally oblivious to anything beyond the Ivy) as "different."

    Not original=the last looks like gucci's glasses adds. the bow and backdrop are so obviously juicy, and all of these photo's look like scarletts for louis last year. Also, I'm pretty sure the whole "school-girl-alice-in-wonderland-circus-eerie/sexy-oldfashioned couture-oh we're so indie/high fashion/ahead of the curve vintage and mod chic thing has been done only a billion times before by teen vogue and marc jacobs.
