John McCain just won in the South Carolina Republican presidential primary!
Earlier on Saturday, he lost the caucuses in Nevada to Mitt Romney, who came in 3rd in S.C. - behind idiot supreme Mike Huckabee.
McCain will turn 72 this May. Just sayin'!

I'm NOT voting for another Republican idiot to make more of a mess of this country, regardless of the ticket - but I hope he gets the nomination to make up for that Ya Hoo Hee Haw faux pas he made last time around…

He is not consistent. Ron Paul is consistent: saving the economy through pulling back big expenditures like ill-conceived foreign occupations that make more enemies and increase risks to national security, and eliminating wasteful programs not authorized by the constitition–such as subsidizing big oil, big pharma, big auto, con agra throught the "rich farmer" subsidies. THEN we don't pay huge federal taxes, we keep our money and issues local, completely eliminate Al Qaeda's recruitment incentives, and rebuild ourt might, respect and integrity–without misusing it to become the big bully of the world. Ron Paul is ELECTABLE because no une else is ACCEPTABLE. Honest Ron. The 1 and only.
BTW–McCain thinks 100 years in Iraq is JUST FINE. You think the terrorists want to come after us now? Just wait til we get another war monger in office. No suggestions on how he'll pay for THAT. No doubt with our social security money, MORE taxes, and oh, maybe he'll take Romney as VP so we can give 20 billion to Michigan auto companies. And we'll all be "christian" (acting VERY un-Christlike in our hatefullness, hypocrisy, intolerance and lack of forgiveness) whether we like it or not. Since those very agnostic founding fathers founded a "christian" nation. When will we learn that "christian" values are basic human rights values found in every religion AND in athiests and agnostics. The christians just add a holier than thou edge to them, and elevate their own perverted repressions to dictates from the mind of god (supposedly unknowable but nonetheless clearly and unarguably in complete agreement with them.) Course every religion does that–which is how we know they are all wrong. But the basic principles are right–and RON PAUL exemplifies them.

I'm glad McCain beat Huckashit because McCain is a much better conservative than the Bible-beating fool. I am a Republican and I agree with Perez that Huckashit would be an awful choice for president. Huckashit is a big government populist who will destroy state's rights and force his ideology on the American people. He is also soft on crime. Look how he released that murder and rapist from Arkansas because he quote "found Jesus" and all that evil person has done is commit more crimes. Huckashit wants to change the Constitution to fit his own agenda. He is in my opinion more dangerous than the Democrats on some level. I personally want a candidate who is not going to be a big government guy. McCain is not my first choice but I do like that he sees the real problem with government which is over-spending and not low taxes if you can even call taxes low. On a side note, for everyone saying that Southeners are ill educated voters…get real! I am from the South and I am pursuing a Master's degree and do not vote because of religion. I would not even call myself a social conservative because I am against the Gay Marriage Amendment because it is a violation of state's rights and I believe that abortion regulations belong to the states as well! Sorry about the rant but I am tired of being labeled dumb because I am a Southener.
