I usually love your site, but this is not funny at all. How are preemies funny at all? My twins were born 4 months premature. One of them died. One of them was in the hospital for 3 months. Some preemies have almost see-through skin, and tubes and wires hooked up everywhere. Yes, you're right, that is so cute, lets give them some drugs to keep them tiny and sick! I know you were just trying to be funny. Making fun of babies who are very sick, can't breath or eat on their own……..WTF is wrong with you!?!?!?!? What if someone in your family had a preemie? You probably would have NEVER made this stupid video, because you would realize how scary and what a horrible experience having a micro-preemie is!

Really not that funny. I've been a reader of you sight up until this point and now I'm entirely done with it. It's ridiculous to even try to bring up preemies. My son was born at 30 weeks, weighed 2.9lbs, was 14 inches long. He was in the NICU for 30 days. Really not funny and in incredibly bad taste.

I love your website and read it several times a day…but you crossed the line. My daughter was a preemie and almost died. She has cerebral palsy and is the love of my life. This video was senseless and has nothing to do with celebrity news. What was the purpose? Please stick to the gossip and don't try to be so "funny". I didn't appreciate this at all!

I love your blog…most of the time, but this video went way too far! As a mother of a premature baby (2 months early) I find this very offensive. Isn't your job supposed to be celebrity blogs, not poking at innocent children and their families. Parents of preemies are already going through way more than you could ever imagine and to have to see stuff like this posted and made fun of…is just sickening. It wasn't even funny anyway…stick to what you know how to do…poking fun of the celebrities who deserve it….not innocent children trying to survive!

The high school I attended raises money for the March of Dimes every year to help premies and this video left me disgusted. I am a pediatric resident physician who is rotating through our NICU right now, and this video broke my heart. Today I took care of a baby who weighs less than 1 1/2 pounds; this little one would easily fit in my hand. She, along with all the other premies we have in the NICU, spends every day fighting for her life. All of her doctors, nurses, respiratory therapists, clinical techs, dieticians, and other caretakers just want to see her make it through everything she is fighting right now, and to see a video that encourages her to stay tiny and in her incubator breaks my heart. I want nothing more than to be able to let her mommy hold her, but we can't because she's hooked up to so many tubes and lines that all we can do is reach into her incubator and touch her so that she knows she is not alone.
Not a laughing matter at all, Perez … I encourage you to visit a NICU sometimes so you can see the horrors these babies and their families face and see what their caretakers really do for them.

My sister actually had to take him to the ER last night and he is in the hospital right now, fighting for his life. This was cruel and nothing to make jokes about. Disappointed in you Perez!

The first and last time I got to hold her was as she was dying and cuddle her after she died. Read the statistics out there prematurity is very much a problem.
