At first we were Team Barack, but now we've been swinging more towards Clinton.
The more we hear the candidates speak, the more we like what Hillary has to say.
But our mind isn't made up 100% yet and getting informed is super important! We urge you all to do that. And, of course, register to vote if you haven't already done that!
We've been a big fan of the Latinalicious America Ferrera for a while, but after watching this video of the Ugly Betty star campaigning for her favorite candidate in Nevada this past weekend, we like her even more.

We, as citizens of this country, must get involve in this primary and vote. You must learn about each candidate's policies and record(s). Everyone I know is sick and tired of being sick and tired about the Bush Administration and the failed policies they employed. It is time to replace Bush with a natural leader. Even if you are not for either leading democratic candidates (Hillary or Barack), you have to get involve. I however will be voting for Hillary because I believe she is what this country needs after Bush leaves the White House. We cannot vote for another know it all without experience or good policies. We all know the story well. At the end of the day, they are all politicians and they will tell you everything you'd like to hear, but you must choose someone whom you can relate and know where they stand. Stop trashing Hillary or Barack. Nevertheless, be inspired that presently, we are in a special moment in our history where a woman or a minority man could be the next president of the United States.

I really like Obama and would love to see him on the ticket as VP. I think they would balance each other out so well. Right now I don't feel it's his time. That's my personal thought. What I don't like or appreciate is how some black people are being made to feel like "sell-outs" by their own community for supporting Hillary instead of Barack. I think that Obama is a great person, he has charisma and charm and such. However, he's a horrible debater, and he just doesn't have enough experience. I am also extremely worried about the recent comment he made, declaring that Reagan had done more for America than Clinton.
Why I support Hillary Clinton is not based primarily on her gender, do you support your candidate because of their gender or race? She's strong, brilliant, eloquent, and most importantly a democrat. I am voting for Hillary in the primary, and I strongly believe she is the best choice, this is coming from a liberal feminist studies major. I'm female and I'm a Democrat, but I will never vote for Hillary. People need to start paying attention to John Edwards- who doesn't toe the line in order to not alienate voters or campaign donors. He lays out SPECIFICALLY what he will do for each issue, and although that doesn't make him the easiest candidate to vote for, it makes him the best.

To those who say Hillary is "so partisan" she will just further divide the country, that's far from the truth. Her record speaks for itself. She has proven that she can and WILL work across the aisle to get things done. Speaking nicely is one thing, but having a record of ENACTING change is what matters–and that's Hillary. She has worked with Republicans such as Newt Gingrich and John Mccain, and MANY others to solve America's problems. Because as much as I generally don't agree with the Republicans, I KNOW that you have to be bipartisan to get things done–that doesn't mean you have to let go of your ideals, but compromise is important.
I strongly believe Hillary Clinton will be the best president ready to lead on Day One. Not just because she's been in the White House and has first hand knowledge of what will be expected, although that's important—but also because her stances on the issues, and her record far exceed the other Democratic candidates'.

Perez, it looks like you are swinging like most of the country - in the direction of Hillary. Taking nothing away from Obama who has a lot of strengths - Hillary is the one who is ready for the challenge. And this country is in such a mess in every way shape and form, we can't risk a candidate who needs on the job training (Sorry, Obama). And as far as people "liking" Obama, well, a lot of people really liked Bush so we know now how unimportant that is. Let's look at the critical issues - the two of them are pretty much in agreement there - and then who can best do the job. Hillary hands down.
