Owen In Danger Of Relapsing!

With the sudden and tragic death of Heath Ledger this is especially troubling!
Owen Wilson stunned us all when he attempted suicide last August and it was later revealed that he was struggling with a hardcore substance abuse problem.
Now, the actor is raising many red flags.
On January 17th, Wilson popped into Green House Smoke Shop in Venice, California, Life & Style reports.
"He was friendly," an insider tells the mag. “Owen spent 20 minutes in the Green House Smoke Shop browsing the pipes and bongs. He bought one of the biggest bongs and spent almost $300 on it."
Owen seemed concerned about not being spotted. “He was worried that someone might have seen him coming out,” the insider says. "He hid behind a FedEx truck for 30 seconds before darting to his car!”
While marijuana is not heroin….STILL.
Wilson shouldn't be doing anything!
Hopefully Owen will get his shit sorted out, for his own good.

Plus, I just can't see using something that lowers one's inhibition as being a good thing when one is a junkie, even if it isn't the primary substance. For a random stoner or casual user it might not be a problem, but I haven't seen it be a good thing for hardcore drunks, tweakers, and junkies.

i couldn't disagree with you more, perez - i've been using marijuana medicinally for years to treat my suicidal depression. thus far it has worked so much better than anti-depressants that my doctor is 100% behind my using it as a treatment. i used to be a heroin addict that could put anyone i met under the table. pot has kept me from relapsing for over a DECADE. that's right, i've been "sober" for 10+ years because pot has kept me from going back to hard drugs. i also don't drink a single drop. you can stuff your gateway theory - people do harder drugs cause they want to do harder drugs, not because pot told them to.

Addicts don't get it- they don't seem to know that they have activated the addiction center in their brain, and, like alcohol addiction, once that happens (for some people on their first time - for others on their 100th time), once the addiction is established, the only way out is to quit all addictive substances. It doesn't really mean you are a loser- it means you are an addict. He needs to STOP and learn how to enjoy, or at least accept, WHO he is. And that takes a lot of time. If he doesn't stop, he will be dead long before his time. STOP IT OWEN.

Using "weed" once in a blue moon is not a big deal, but a person can still abuse it like any other drug. Ask a person in the know, such as a psychologist - pot can cause depression AND anxiety in people. It works differently for people; it doesn't make everyone feel "relaxed."

I have a addictive personallity and i can say i never been addicted to pot. I found it helped my depression and enjoy it more doing less. I has helped me with my depression and i wouldn't do it every day. I guess what i am saying is if it works 4 you use it and if it makes you feel like shit then dont do it EASY

I've been addicted to heroin myself and its a terrible life to live. Smoking weed is how I managed to quit heroin. It also helped the terrible anxiety I got after quitting heroin. I definetly do not plan on smoking weed forever, but it does help. Leave him alone. loser.
Let me assure you that I don't think smoking 10 fat joints a day is particularly good for you, plus it's illegal. But whether someone uses marijuana moderatly (as most of its users do) or whether they use it more intensively, by far the greatest risk associated with it today is to do with the fact that it's illegal and not with any immediate harm from the drug itself. and Yes, recovery is 10x easy and possible….

But have you even thought about the thousands of people that feel relief from it?! It is prescribed to people in pain; suffering from cancer or other various diseases. I am 20 now but when I was six, my father died of cancer. I thank pot every day because with its help, he could get up and play with me without getting nauseous. He could actually consume a meal. Pot helped mask the pain of the cancer. He lived longer because of pot. In no way can you claim that it is life threatening, because it in fact does the exact opposite. Though opinions differ, and I respect yours, you have no respect for those who appose you. And I wouldn't be surprised if many of the people you look up to smoke pot because a lot of people do. Especially in Hollywood. Do you know how many celebrities are prescribed cannibus cards for no reason? Come 2030, I wouldn't even be surprised if it was legalized.
