PLEASE… he was moving around a bit, maybe because he felt uncomfortable being interviewed by such an inarticulate, boring twat (whoever it was).
Even if Heath Ledger did have drug issues, that footage proves nothing at all.

anyone who has ever done extacy will CLEARLY know that we was under the influence. Those who have NEVER been under this influence SHUT the hell up and stop acting like you knwo what you are talking about. Yeah, he was totally on drugs.
If you've ever taken drugs like speed, or coke, you will know that holding a lengthy conversation (much like an interview) doesn't allow for much moving around. At least, not with your legs. To make up for that, and expend some of the energy he was feeling, you'll notice he was CONSTANTLY moving his arms, crossing them, stretching them, holding them in awkward positions. His brain aws perfectly composed, yes, and he was very articulate, but his physical demeanor screamed cocaine or meth-amphetamine, or whatever upper celebs are trending on these days.
A person who was sober, would notice that they were doing something like that, especially being on camera, and would try to stop doing it, and look composed.
He also was chewing on his lips and making poor eye contact. Much like a person on uppers would have been doing.
Don't take this the wrong way. I think that drug use, overdose, depression and death are some of the saddest things in life. Haha, yes, irony very much intended.
In situations like this, YOU HAVE TO MAKE SOMETHING OUT OF NOTHING!! I find the title 'Heath Battled Drugs' offensive and unfounded. There is nothing in the clip that show he is 'clearly under the influence of drugs'. His body isn't even cold yet…think of his poor family and daughter!

In our opinion, as people who suffer from social anxiety disorder, we do not think he was under the influence of any type of drugs. Heath has said before that he is very nervous during interviews. He is displaying classic signs of social anxiety disorder in that clip.

Poor guy may have been on anti-depressant and/or anti-anxiety drugs "legally" prescribed by some quack of a psychiatrist who believes, like the rest of them, that any sad emotion or low mood needs to be treated with a freakin' pill. I've seen someone very close to me under the influence of anti-anxiety medication and the arm movements and fidgeting that Heath exhibits in this video are eerily similar to what this lovely woman went through. It's been proven for ages that these drugs cause suicidal ideation. Poor bugger probably didn't know what the fuck he was going through and not being in his right mind due to the drugs, ended it all. Unfortunately, he didn't have someone around to explain to him the havoc these poisons wreck on the mind.
