The "Reverend" Fred Phelps's Westboro Baptist Church announced plans to protest at the funeral of Heath Ledger.
Why?
The "God Hates Fags" hatemongers will picket the decease Aussie actor's funeral because he is a pervert who promoted homosexuality by appearing as a gay man in Brokeback Mountain.
We wish we could laugh at this stupidity, but it just makes us angry!
Heath may not have been perfect, but he doesn't deserve this.

This group should not be mistaken for real Christians, they are a HATE GROUP. They have in the past years targeted the funerals of OUR FALLEN MILITARY. From what I've heard, they are a small group, mostly of one family. They do not respect anyone who doesn't share their views. They allow their hate for those people to fuel their cruel agenda . If you have a moment, try doing an internet search on these people. What you find will be disturbing.

As a Christian, I apologize for the hatred Phelp's "church" spreads. He and his followers prove they are NOT true Christians in any sense of the word. Jesus told us not to sin, but he was always loving and compassionate to everyone, even the prostitutes and tax collectors.

You may be interested to know that in April 2007, There was a ban on protesting funerals, because this man protested at military funerals. It started with the "respect america's fallen hero's" act, and moved on to become a bill later on.

When my husband was in Iraq, someone in his unit died, and this group of effing morons came and picketed the memorial service. They were screaming at the families that their sons were burning in hell.
