As primary season heats up, celebrities continue to show up on the campaign trail for their favorite candidates.
On Wednesday, Private Practice star Kate Walsh went out stumping for Barack Obama at Arizona State University.
"She was the nicest person ever," one Perezcious student tells us. "Not a diva at all. She took the time to answer questions, sign autographs, and take pictures with her fans and Obama supporters."

Actors are generally uneducated, and mis-informed. This has nothing to do with my political views. I am saying this as a blanket statement, republic or democrat. Politics require years of experience, ivy league education, a plethora of information, NOT simply a resume that says "Greys Anatomy". Rosie O'Donnell… well, she doesn't even have a college degree. Kate dropped out of the University of Arizona (sub-par school to begin with), and spent most of her life in the uncultured worlds of fashion and hollywood. What qualifies her as someone to tell America who to choose as our next president, let alone, what qualifies any actor or celebrity to tell us who to choose as any political figure?

obama might be an excellent speaker and seems to somehow inspire people but that in itself is not enough to lead the country. i cannot believe that people are voting for someone with no track record. he has not done anything in the senate. the senate must be a breeze compare to the white house. he has not proved himself. a vote for obama is a vote for lack of leadership and chaos. you can see how easily he loses all debates. even edwards seems a lot better choice than obama. 2008 is hillary. a vote for hillary is a vote for women across the nation.
Who the heck is Kate Walsh, and who really watches Private Practice? Also, it appears that the AZ governor, Janet Napolitano, is in the first photo. Hard to say since you posted only a partial photo. She's the one whose endorsement would actually matter.

Kate Walsh is a doll! I worked on a film with her and she would sit with the interns at lunch and just chitchat when not on set. Really sweet, and stunningly beautiful.
what is so weird is that she went through security behind us at the phoenix airport yesterday and got pulled aside for more security checks as did i - and i thought "wow she looks just like kate walsh!" she even had that outfit on. she looks way more regular in person-not so glam.
