This is reprehensible!
Fox News Talk Network host John Gibson announced the sad and tragic death of actor Heath Ledger on Tuesday by mocking him and making light of his untimely passing.
Disgusting!
We've been on this creep's show before and we will boycott his show in the future, unless he issues an apology.
Here's a rundown of what happened:
"Playing an audio clip of the iconic quote, 'I wish I knew how to quit you' from Ledger’s gay romance movie Brokeback Mountain, Gibson disdainfully quipped, 'Well, he found out how to quit you.' Laughing, Gibson then played another clip from Brokeback Mountain in which Ledger said, 'We’re dead,' followed by his own, mocking 'We’re dead' before playing the clip again."
Gibson called Ledger a "weirdo" with a "serious drug problem" and suggested that Ledger killed himself because he had "a serious position in the (stock) market" or perhaps "watched the Clinton-Obama debate last night. I think he was an Edwards guy, cause he saw his Edwards guy was just completely irrelevant."

What makes anyone think that they have the right to judge someone they don't know let alone make jokes about it? No matter how someone died it is never excuseable to make a joke out of it. Mr. Gibson,
Your mocking tone and unwarranted comments following Heath Ledger's death were totally uncalled for, reprehensible, and childish. I would expect a professional like yourself to take matters like this more objectively. Saying that he had a "serious drug problem" doesn't make his death any less tragic. Heath was a great talent and a loving father. He came to America from Australia to pursue the American Dream and succeeded. For someone so young, he rose to the top ranks of his profession in a short time…no easy feat. Shame on you for making light of something so tragic. It's not right, and certainly not funny. I am a regular viewer of Fox News. Bill O'Reilly or Michelle Malkin would never make such comments. Your utter disrespect towards the Ledger family is appalling. Would you make such comments about a soldier killed in Iraq if it were revealed that he had a drug problem? I think not.
