You realize she's not doing this on her own, just like the "stars" of the past, she has a stylist that either puts these looks together for her or heavily advises her. I'm kind of over the whole retro drag look she's cultivated, it isn't new, female impersonators have been doing this for years on a lot less income and a lot less support from designers.
It's her schtick, her hook to being "different" & I think she's probably a fun, nice person and all, but I'd like to see her do something new and fresh.
For the life of me, I don't get Perez's infatuation with Dita Von Teese. I mean, she has an interesting look, but she's not beautiful. So near as I can figure, his obsession with her is because, well, he's GAY, and therefore, he doesn't find REAL women attractive, he prefers women who are more mannequin than woman.

She shows off her figure yet nothing looks tacky or too revealing that is a rare feat for most women to accomplish.
