According to a report in the new issue of Us Weekly, Britney Spears showed up recently at a Los Angeles elementary school and said that she was there to pick up some kids…not hers!
Unfitney claimed she was supposed to take home her lawyer's children but quickly bolted.

With little sister Jamie Lynn Spears pregnant and Britney Spears unable to get her children back due to court orders many have tried everything to save Britney Spears. Reports earlier has Kevin Federline, Britney's ex-husband concerned for his kids and many are already worried how Britney will react when Jamie Lynn has her baby and Britney wants to baby-sit.
A detailed story in this week's us Weekly magazine won't help that much as the magazine is reporting that on January 7 a source tells the "Hot Stuff" section of the magazine that the "scantily clad" pop star showed up at a Beverly Hills elementary school, saying she was there to pick up someone else’s kids.
According to the report the singer parked her car outside the school just before 3 p.m. and spent 10 minutes smoking cigarettes and talking to herself while she waited for classes to let out. “She was just rambling and confused,” says the witness, who approached Spears to ask if she was OK. “She said, ‘I’m here to pick up my kids.’
Next the report notes that Britney then changed her story and said, ‘They aren’t my kids; I have a new attorney, and I came to pick them up for her.’ ” Adds the witness, “All I could think was, Who in their right mind would let her pick up their kids?”
As children began to leave for the day, the star, 26, caused a commotion — “It became the talk of the school. Some of the kids were freaked out,” says a school source. She was then directed to a more secure entrance around back.
But before getting into her car and driving off (without any children), she chatted up the female witness: “She said, ‘You’re so nice. You should give me your number. I don’t have very many friends.’ ” That much is certainly true.

I just ran into Britney while I was at that particular Elementary School…two of my kids attend there. She appears to be a lost soul, searching for something deeper and more rewarding. She wasn't harming anyone and she seemed quite nice. I did feel bad for her though because she seemed a little disoriented. But let this be known that she wasn't there to hurt anyone. She's human just like anybody else….and she needs true friends that support her and like her for her..not her money or status.
Do you REALLY believe that EACH story written about Britney Spears is true?

First of all Perez did not make this up. It clearly says Us Weekly reported this. Secondly, I agree with the people saying the paparazzi would have been all over this. Girlfriend can't even going to the bathroom without someone being there with a camera. Third, it says this happened January 7, that would be less then two days after she got out of the hospital. If this did happen then, surely it would qualify as the possible harm to another person that would get her involuntarily committed.
Conclusion: Made up crap by Us Weekly. Nice scary story though…

If this is a true incident, how come we didn't hear of it at the time? I wouldn't put anything past her but this is something the cops or at least the school officials should have investigated.

This is eeriely similar to an incident with a former friend who started stalking my sons' preschool when she was having her breakdown, later diagonosed schizophrenia. Mentally ill people get fixated on things, and have trouble telling what's real or not. It was VERY scary and it was sad to see my maid of honor lose it to the point I had to cut her off to protect myself and my family. I wish I had known more about how to help her, but at the time, I was just angry and scared - I'm sorry. Britney has the resources to get help - she had better or she or others will end up hurt or worse.
