LEDGER'S DRUG BINGES WITH CAMPBELL
HEATH LEDGER enjoyed indulging in cocaine and ecstasy binges with NAOMI CAMPBELL in his early days as a Hollywood star, according to the supermodel's former assistant. Rebecca White worked for the British catwalk star for three years from 2001, and claims she witnessed the extent of the tragic actor's drug addiction several times during her employment. She tells British newspaper The Sun, "When I was working for Naomi I saw Heath do drugs a few times. He was new on the scene but everybody was hailing him as the new It Boy actor. "We had been hanging in Naomi's bungalow at the Bel Air Hotel. Heath asked Naomi if she had any cocaine - I use to carry it around for her - and I remember giving him the packet and he went off, back and forth throughout the night." At another celebrity event, White claims to have seen Ledger take ecstasy with reformed addict Campbell: "We went to… (a) party at this club. There was coke and a big bag of ecstasy pills. Naomi gave Heath a handful of these little blue pills and I remember him putting them all in his mouth at once and swigging a bottle of Cristal champagne." And White also alleges to have bought cocaine on behalf of the Brokeback Mountain star on more than one occasion: "Each time I got an eight ball, which is four-and-a-half grams. The second time he came up all three of us spent a night doing coke in her (Campbell's) bungalow. It was quite decadent. We were there for five or six hours doing lines." But White, who went on to work as a personal assistant for actress Claire Danes - a close pal of Ledger's ex-fiancee Michelle Williams - admits the actor was desperate to change his lifestyle following the birth of his and Williams' daughter, Matilda, in 2005. She adds, "Heath felt that he really wanted to be a family man. He adored his daughter." Ledger was found dead in his New York apartment on Tuesday (22Jan08). An autopsy carried out on Wednesday (23Jan08) failed to reveal how the actor died, although police believe his death is drug-related as sleeping pills were found by his bed.
See- these people know how to keep their mouths shut so we never really know what's going on until someone slips up. If he spent 1 hour with Naomi back in those days…he was using. If you've ever partied in the same place with her…you were using. I know lots of people who take E- 2 have gone to rehab and never stopped. Trust it!

Some naive folks out there. There are A LOT of people doing lines and taking e. Everything in moderation. Just because somebody does drugs when they go out, it doesn't make them an addict/troubled/pathetic/in need of help/etc. Ever see people doing stupid crap at a bar? Well, it's never the people doing bumps in the bathroom. It's the people doing shots of tequila. So if you're going to rip something…rip the booze.
if this is true, which i cannot say, heath was a grown man. you cannot blame naomi for his drug use just as we cannot blame heath for naomi's drug use. i simply wish he hadn't died. i'm looking forward to hearing no drugs were found in his system.

OK has anyone even read the reports on his death??? there was no drugs found on the $20 or any found in the apartment except for the sleeping pills and Anxiety pills. Those bottles were nearly full.
I am not saying he NEVER did drugs but I am not assuming anything until the tests come back. I just wish people would stop saying mean things about the man. So he wasn't perfect but nobody is.
I wouldn't say these things about someone who wasn't famous so what makes it ok to say them about Heath? People just want to cash in on the attention the story is getting.
So untill the test results come back in as far as I am concerned the man died accidentaly by mixing the wrong combination of prescription drugs. It happens all the time to normal people who don't ask questions about the drugs they are on.
Anyway I loved Heath and either way I still love him and I will miss seeing him on the big screen. RIP.

He was not a drug addict if he had taken drugs years ago while partying, i know lots of people who have and they are not addicted and don't do drugs anymore, most people in hollywood go through that phase and come out of it eventually if they are smart and quit it early on, he has probably not done drugs for years and now everyone is coming out of the woodwork to share their drug stories, get a life!, he was on presription meds when he died and it's already been proven their were no illegal drugs in his system, he probably took a bad combination or took much of it (sleeping pills and anti-anxiety meds), a mistake many make and pay the price, doesn't mean we need to label him a drug addict, let him rest in peace. What a lot of people aren't aware of is that prescription drugs can also kill, you have to be monitered by your doctor to make sure you are not overdoing the doses or becoming hooked to them (especially sleeping pills), sad.
