New details about the relationship between Heath Ledger and Mary-Kate Olsen!
People is reporting that the pair were dating for the three months prior to the actor's death, though not exclusively.
And, quite tellingly, they shared a strong bond: they both loved to pAArty, says the mag.
"Mary-Kate and Heath were casually dating for three months before Heath's death," a source tells People. "They were hooking up, but neither were particularly interested in making it exclusive."
The pair first met over the summer of 2006, when ledger was still with Michelle Williams, but at the time he was living at the Chateau Marmont in Hollywood.
As for what drew the two together, says the source, "They had a bond that was based on partying, and they had the same tastes in partying … like, in terms of where they liked to hang out in New York, what time they would want to go out. They just had the same sensibility."

While I am now very respected in my occupation and am what most people would consider a normal mom in a normal neighborhood, I was a FIERCE partier in my early 20s and late teens. I dont regret it at all. I did whatever I wanted. I did some drugs but honestly never did enough of anything to get addicted. I was in the clubs. AND… I worked. AND I went to school PERSONALLY I dont consider how you did it "living" however I dont necessarily recommend how I did it either. The point being, that just because that was not YOUR experience doesnt make it wrong and CERTAINLY does not mean one deserves to die. In Brooklyn, where I grew up, and where many of my colleagues including myself still live, it was normal. May not have been IDEAL but it was normal.
