New details about the relationship between Heath Ledger and Mary-Kate Olsen!
People is reporting that the pair were dating for the three months prior to the actor's death, though not exclusively.
And, quite tellingly, they shared a strong bond: they both loved to pAArty, says the mag.
"Mary-Kate and Heath were casually dating for three months before Heath's death," a source tells People. "They were hooking up, but neither were particularly interested in making it exclusive."
The pair first met over the summer of 2006, when ledger was still with Michelle Williams, but at the time he was living at the Chateau Marmont in Hollywood.
As for what drew the two together, says the source, "They had a bond that was based on partying, and they had the same tastes in partying … like, in terms of where they liked to hang out in New York, what time they would want to go out. They just had the same sensibility."

You praise Star Jones for her editorial in which she asks the media to respect Heath Ledger's family's privacy and let him rest in peace, yet you keep bringing up this inconclusive bullshit, whether with drugs or, of all meaningless things, Mary Kate Olsen. Who cares if they dated? Who knows if they even did? All in all it means absolutely nothing. The autopsy will be ready within a few weeks. I didn't do drugs when I was 21. Not everyone does you know, some people were actually WORKING and studying and trying to pay their rent. Only rich spoiled brats living on their parents Amex card did drugs in college. Real people were too busy paying their own way. With all of Mary Kate's money you would think this stupid little slut would find something more meaningful to do with her life than fucking around and getting high. I was one of 4 roomies in college. 3 of us partied our asses off. The other spent the majority of her time feeling superior to us for being so 'good'.
