Gibson Finally Apologizes

John Gibson finally showed remorse for his inappropriate mockery of Heath Ledger's death.
On his Fox News Channel show on Thursday, he said he was sorry if his comments offended anyone and also said he was sorry that Heath Ledger died and wasn't with us anymore.
His mea culpa seemed kinda forced, but that's the best you can expect from him.

i am sorry, this is not enough! the only reason why he is saying that he is sorry is because perez put it up and made it aware (which is a good thing!) so people would hound these people nonstop! people need to stop acting so stupid! even if it's not about gay, striaght, or whatever, someone has DIED and it is a person that needs to be respected. think about his FAMILY and his CHILD! some people have no respect and it makes you wonder what kind of world we live in.

First of all, John Gibson said the apology was his word, but anyone watching the clip could tell it was NOT his word. This was NOT a heartfelt apology. Tis WAS words being read from a teleprompter. Heath Ledger, although I didn't know him, was a human and a damn fine actor, dedicated to his craft and to his daughter. You could tell by watching interviews with Heath that he was a PERSON, a real PERSON with tremendous feelings and a person who was uncomfortable with being in the spotlight. He loved the craft, he did not like the attention being brought to him, as he was a humble human. Have some freaking decency and respect. Is that too damn much to ask? Get off your bible-thumping high-horse and show compassion for once. Is that too damn much to ask? Apparently so…

The toss just read off the telepromoter (sp?) which was written by the producers. He doesn't give a rats ass and you can hear it in the tone of his voice.
John Gibson will always be a wannabe. He tries to be O'Reilly (as if that's something to aspire to), but can't come up with his schtick. He's too weak mentally, low on talent and ugly both inside and out. He's basically a network timekiller between big names. You never hear, "Oh, you should have heard what John Gibson thinks about this." Can anyone explain why he thought "joking" about Heath Ledger death would be a good move? I mean, maybe if he were funny–but he's not. He's just John Gibson, the no talent bookmark on Faux News.

And his family and close friends are mourning his loss. And as someone who covers the news, he should know that. The loss of anyone is horrible, but to mock them on something seen around the world? He should be suspended from his postion at Fox News. He has no remorse. He only apologized because his paycheck was at risk.
