To hijack another's funeral for one's own purposes is the definition of selfishness, and is truly bottom of the barrel stuff. It is simply not the time nor the place to voice one's convictions. It's like dissing your own mother, or burning the flag, or swearing at a holy man. The bereaved famililes need legal or police protection from this type of kook insult, but am uncertain how the law could protect them during this time.
