Shirley was being interviewed about her fanatical church's decision to protest the funeral and memorial for Heath Ledger.
She did not take it very well when the radio hosts brought up her illegitimate sons.

What the Westboro Baptist Church wants is publicity. They do these ridiculous action such as protesting funerals to get publicity to bring their word across. By putting one of there members on TV or the radio or even on this blog is giving them exactly what they want- their name known. If we ignore them, they will have no audience and they will fade away…but unfortunately, their actions are so crude and ignorant that people do not ignore them.
Shirley, you had sex before marriage. That is considered a sin. I'll see you in hell. Plain and simple. If Jesus died on the cross for you to be forgiven, then he dies on the cross for every person to be forgiven, including Heath Ledger. If you claim someone else is going to hell, then you are to, because you are then going against your teachings.

God made every person as they are supposed to be- perfect in His eyes, and if someone is gay, they can still be compassionate, kind, loving, and good.
