Marlon Brando's eldest son, Christian, has passed away.
He was hospitalized this past week with pneumonia.
Brando was 49.

Well..they are all gone..Marlon, Cheyanne…maybe now we will find out what really happened to Cheyannes husband….
No normal, healthy 49 y/o dies of pneumonia. Christian Brando died of AIDS. Someday, the truth will come out. A very sad story.
First, there is Heath and now Christian, What's this fuckin' unfair life ?
Everybody is dying! It's so sad !

Honey, there's some serious pnuemonia catching up with these celebrities. Wasn't young Mr. Ledger recovering from some type of pnuemonia? And now Marlon's son? Wow! That's serious shit. You know, several years ago, I was house sitting up on Mulholland Dr. right next "door" to Brando and his kids and Nicholson. Oh yeah! Miss Sophia was living like Hollywood Royalty. I never saw anybody so I can't comment on whether the pnuemonia was contagious or nothing. It's a good thing these celebrities have left behind movies and records because their lives are just as full of pain and suffering as we normal folk. Mr. Perez, thank you for sharing this. Are you going to do another Tee Shirt saying "Why couldn't it be Britney?" with Brando's son? How many Tee Shirts have you sold with Mr. Ledger's picture on it?

Does his daddy know? What tragic news to tell a parent. How do you know if you have the pnuemonias? I've been a smoker for nearly all my life, so I can't tell if my continuous coughing is lung cancer or pnuemonias. I guess I'll find out soon enough. This Christian never had much of a chance to find out who he was. He was always living in his daddy's ever increasing shadow. Can you imagine growing up as Marlon Brando's son and watching your father decompose from a hottie into a slug? Thank you Mr. Perez for bringing this to my attention. I'll say a prayer for him too. Lordy, Lordy, this is gonna be one long prayer night.

Very sad. Chris killed Dag Drollet ( his sister's boyfriend) because Christiian's sister Cheyenne,told him that Dag was beating her. It was not true, as Cheyenne later admitted. Cheyenne suffered from mental illness.
This is a really tragic story.
Dag Drollet died for no reason, Cheyenne committed suicide later, and now Christian is dead- after what must have been an unhappy life. RIP Christian.

Re: les uk – You are very, very right. Being hard on your body can greatly decrease immunity, which can in turn, make one much more susceptible to a variety of illnesses including pneumonia. I was a heavy drinker and smoker from my very early 20's to late 30's and experienced frequent bronchitis and colds. Had pneumonia twice; the first time was a moderate case that was treated at home with heavy antiboitics and steriods, the second landed me in the hospital. Needless to say, I no longer drink or smoke. I quit both at the same time, on the same day. The most treacherous two weeks of my life, but I made it through. Have been smoke free and alcohol free for two years. Would like to hear back from you. Hey kids out there: Dont's smoke at all and if you are of legal drinking age, drink in extreme moderation. Beleive me, if not, it will come back knocking on your door. I am on my second liver, did I mention that? Thought I would. It's not a joke.

Re: Maldoror – Actually, the full report stated that Cheyenne, in her schizophrenic mind, was convinced that Dag had beaten her up (apparently he had not) and convinced Christian that it had happened. Christian then killed Dag and went to prison. When Cheyenne realized that her delusion lead to her husband's death SHE committed suicide. A horrid tragedy for all involved.
isn't that the guy that got put in prison for life for killing his sisters baby daddy/boyfriend? it's a really sad story and i always felt bad for him because it was completely provoked by his sister. she kind of tricked him into it…. rip christian
No, death does not come in 3's. It comes everyday. People of all ages die every single day. I really find it hard to admire people who lead lives dominated by deception (and usually drugs). There are better role models out there. Don't be impressed by celebrity because rarely is there anything to be impressed about.

Very sad- for all his success and admiration as an actor, Marlon Brando's personal life was doomed and poisonous from the start. His parents were neglectful alcoholics, he had three failed marriages and lord knows how many kids in and out of wedlock. Strange for someone so young to die of pneumonia - must have been an aggressive version of it!
Long before the current Young Hollywood antics, the story of the Brando offspring was one of Hollywood's saddest tales of excess, complete with drugs, murder, suicide and psychiatric illness. His death is the end of a sad life, and wherever he is, I hope he has found some peace at last.

it is a known fact that drug abuse, whether it be use of cocaine, heroin, meth etc., lowers a person's immune system increasing the risk of developing pneumonia after the body is unable to fight off a common cold or flu virus. death is never something i would wish upon even my worst enemy, however, i don't have much empathy for a person that committed horrible crimes against people and then died as a result of not taking care of themselves. from the sounds of it christian was not a very good person and his death was a result of his own poor choices is life. may god have mercy upon his soul.
this guy never had a chance at normal..I knew Marlon's housekeeper ( 1 of) in the early 60's. She told me alot of really odd stuff about Brando, & thats when Christian had begun living there full-time…
