A New Kids Reunion Is Not Happening… For Now

There has been talk of a New Kids on the Block reunion tour the past few days, but one of the former band members says it's not happening!
Danny Wood just sent out the following bulletin to all his MySpace friends:
"Hello to everyone. Hope all is well and everyone is enjoying the New Year. I wanted to address the rumors of the NKOTB Reunion Tour. There has been no talk of this and you are getting it from source directly. Never say never, and you can't believe everything you read.
On another note my solo record will be released in Australia in March. There are a few new songs on it and I hope you guys will check it out. Thank you so much for your continued support.

I ALMOST CRIED WHEN I HEARD THE NEWS THIS MORNING….I WAS SO YOUNG AT 13 WHEN I WENT TO THEIR CONCERT AND WAY TO YOUNG TO WORK IT AND GET BACK STAGE…BUT NOW AT 30 I WAS GONNA DO IT AND DO IT GOOD!!! DAMN IT!!

I saw them when I was 10 from the front row, even met Donny. Then I went again and saw Jordan at the Amphitheater in Tampa, FL back in 2003 where I also met and had a WONDERFUL conversation with Jon. I'd glady pay to see them again especially now that I have a daughter I could take with me

Though I always believe Perez, I wouldn't believe Danny Wood. He always pisses on everything and is last to get on board. Why's the site active copyright 2008? Maybe it's contractual that he has to deny it for so long just to build buzz. Who knows but Danny isn't credible.

New kids can all still sing and dance. Joe was on Dancing With The Stars awhile back and even toured with them. He could totally shake that sexy thing. Jordan can still sing he is on myspace and Danny he is also on myspace. Both can still sing. Donnie may have lost a lot of his hair but he is still sexy as hell. He was always the cut up and basically the rocker of the group. So he still has it. Jon has been suffering with anxiety so I am not sure how they would get him to do it. But he is still good looking as well. They may have got older but hell we all have.
I'd go, but only if they sing the old songs. The only people interested are old fans who want to relive their teen years. We don't care about new tunes, we want the songs we memorized the dance steps to 17 years ago!! And those of you who don't know NKOTB, myob….

Ok, so I don't know how many of you don't know how to go to www.NKOTB.com and see for yourself, a once dead site come back to life after how many years?? Sorry Perez, but I must say that I DO NOT agree with you on this "not happening…..for now" reunion because according to Regis & Kelly, The View and the rest of the early morning shows, NKOTB IS MAKING A COMEBACK AND REUNITING!! I don't care what Danny posted on his MySpace as it's probably run by someone under his direction and we all know how Hollywood is where they keep everything all hush hush. I mean, c'mon, how long did it take for the pregnancy rumors to actually come true about JLo and Christina Aguilera?? We're all hip to Brit Brit's situation, but let's get real. For those who care, check out their website and then YOU decide who knows their stuff, Perez or NKOTB. Yes, I'm one of MANY who can't for the reunion, the album and hopefully a tour. And unless you were around in the late 80's or early 90's, you WOULDN'T know who these guys are. They started the "boy band" culture before N'SYNC and Backstreet Boys, etc., etc. I don't care how old they are, I'm sure they'll do just as good now as they did back in the day.
